Re: stones in salivary glands

Have you tried milking the glands or just a good massage where you have the pain and then apply a heat pack for 20 mins. Also try sucking a lemon or buy some spur lemon sweets . It will help to put the saliva back into your mouth . I have managed at the weekend to get rid of the pain with this complaint and the dentist is quite happy no infection told me to continue the milking or massaging the gland and the heat pack . The worse part is the salty taste in the mouth while draining . So I am drinking plenty of cold water with lemon juice in it. The swelling has gone as well. It may be worth a try. I think mine has come from a viral infection as my oral standards are pretty high and have to be as have dental implants . Hope these tips work for you all as it is a painful thing to have .
