Re: stones in salivary glands

Hello,

I have these stones too as well. They are produced from bacteria build up in a "tonsil crypt" (hole) which I have found in my mouth.

From time to time I pass these stones. They are called "tonsil stones" They are usually white and are small like you stated. I have made an appointment with an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat Doctor) to find out what I need to do.

I want to have the opening for bacteria closed. I don't think it is a good thing for bacteria to be building up into a "ball" in a hole in the mouth.

Research through the internet on "tonsil stones" and "tonsil crypt".

Amanda

Hope this helps!
