like a sponge

or more like a sponge-brained moron.

grizz's new campaign to enlighten everyone is the 'like a sponge' theory. the small intestine apparently is like a sponge.

Really??????

You mean to say that the small intestine actually absorbs nutrients? And like a sponge too???!!!

Who knew?

This is brilliant sleuthing Clouseau!

Forget about Iodine being absorbed in the oral mucosa, the esophagal mucosa or the stomach itself. It magically does not get absorbed until it reaches exactly the small intestine thus preventing any of it from reaching the colon where it will supposedly destroy flora.

How many flaws in logic and common sense are stacked upon eachother here.

Anyway, as has been previously brought to his attention, bread and yogurt can be fermented in iodine. So we need go no further than this fact to know that Iodine does not kill at least certain strains of lactophilic flora.

The notion that the small intestine does not contain flora is completely dumb. In a computer simulated model, perhaps the small intestine would remain sterile but unfortunately people have do deal with reality, yea it sucks but the only other choice is to live in candyland like grizz.

If you are considering taking advice from this clown then do so at your own risk. He has very little understanding of anything health related.

BTW you can google him and see that he is obese. If you want to 'cure candida' and become obese then sure he is your man.

Trapper loves to keep him around so that he has another worshipper, but other than that this guy serves very little purpose.
