Re: my experience on fruit diet

there are many problems with a purely fruitarian diet;

such as ketosis(lack of carohydrates which are needed for slow burning fuel of Sugar for the brain(starch) not to mention b vitamins that nourish the nerves),
omega 3 deficency(an essentail fatty acid for the brain to mature and function properly with out it one will be retarded african babies have a lack of omega 3s in their diet),

and then theres the question of protein fruit (from trees) only contain small amounts of protein which one needs to supply your muscles. if you do physical labor the muscles actually tear and protein repairs these scars.

this is only the begining of problems with a pure fruit diet (although one could survive for a lengthy time on a purely botanical description of fruit that includes grains,nuts,fruits, tomatoes, avacadoes, and cucumbers.
why ? because nuts contain omega 3 essential oils for your brain and nerves they also contain protein for repairing muscles after they are exercised. Grain conatins most b vitamins and protein, and starch for fuel(sugar)
although i think you did the right thing to stop the fruit I think its premature to completely throw out being vegetarian. The problem with most diets is that they do not contain enough variety and without enough variety one does not consume the essental vitamins,oils,starches, trace minerals that support life.
