I live in the country so our water is allegedly free of city-added fluoride and other such chemicals. Besides water, the only beverages I drink are Traditional Medicinals dandelion and green tea, Silk unsweetened almond milk, and occasionally an Evolution Fresh green juice. That's about it really.
Also, Vitamin D deficiency runs in my family. I discovered that my own levels were low upon having a blood test performed a few years ago. My doctor had me take 10,000 IU of Vitamin D2 for 6 weeks if I remember correctly. Afterwards, I continued to supplement with 1,000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily and still do to this day. What dosage of Iodine would be a good place to start? Is 50% of the DRV enough?
