Fish oil...miracle pill for EVERYTHING

I did a very stupid thing tonight. I bought these wonderful Oneida measuring cups that were wrapped together with a plastic clasp. Of course, I just had to cut it with my very sharp professional cook's knife. My poor thumb... well anyway it took all but twenty seconds, not even for my cut to close up and stop bleeding. I remember when I cut my toe really bad and was bleeding for a minute and had to prop my foot up. I wasn't taking any fish oil or as much vitamin C as I am now. I take at least 2,000 mg of fish oil, three thousand if I lift heavy weights that day or have a stressful day at work. I also take flax seed oil for greasing up my woman parts and having a less painful period. Right now I'm not convinced that I can get the same results by taking non-fish oil supplements. In fact, according to the literature you have to take A LOT of flax seed oil so that your body can convert more ALA to the important stuff EPA and DHA. If you consume any omega 6, it makes the process more inefficient so no I won't be an ethical vegan anytime soon, at least not when it comes to fish oil. The brand of fish oil I use right now is Naturemade. I bought it at Walmart.

I think the seniors would benefit A LOT from fishoil supplements. The condition of nursing home senior skin is awful esp. in winter. More on this tomorrow, I must sleep!
