Morning rain in the garden
morning thoughts
Date: 9/16/2005 7:22:40 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2720 times I found that there is something inherently magickal about walking barefooted in the grass in the midst of a gentle downpour. I've not been in my garden during the midst of my depression. This morning as I woke up, I knew that 1. I wanted to fast today because I'm happy I have a job 2. wanted to go walking and 3. needed to clean my fish pond and garden. Anyway, my tomato plants have been so patient and kind with me that they're producing more tomatoes than I can eat :-) Hence, there's always some to grab and eat in the kitchen. Also, I planted a pumpkin plant too far up in the corner where it's very dark and I thought it'd die. I left it alone there instead of pulling it up. Well now it's managed to grow itself towards the sun and now it's all over the place. I can see how mindlessly planting seeds in the heat of excitement is a metaphor for life and being irresponsible and promiscuous isn't healthy.
I have a new job I am starting today. Going to be a cashier at Whole Foods Market. It's full time so now I am gainfully employed. Thank you dear Lord.
I have also been walking and watching what I eat. I lost one pound. Honest, I've not been working out hard at all. Now that I have a job, I can focus on carving out my body and health the way I want it. I have many life lessons I learned. I need to sit down and tell you all of them later when I'm not getting ready to go to work.
