I messed up today and ate some food. I didn't go crazy and stuff my belly but I still ate something and had some coffee. My first lesson from this is that I'm not going to tell anyone I'm fasting in the future. People in general trend towards negativity and judgmentalism. Jesus knew what he was talking about when He said fast in private. I don't think He was just addressing hypocritical pharisees alone. Given that God walked the earth in the form of Jesus Christ, I think He knew above all the hearts of people. That doesn't mean I won't post future fasts on Curezone. It just means I won't be telling anyone around me, except for my fiance.

Next, while I was driving to work my body realised it hasn't had food in a day and a half. I started to get hungry a little. My mom's patient doesn't have cable tv so all there was to watch were the cooking shows on PBS.

Finally, I must become totally dedicated to spiritual purification and fasting so that I'm not so affected by people. I read a book by Sondra Ray and Sunfood Success by David Wolfe. I took extensive notes which I will put up here tomorrow. Needless to say, the fast IS CONTINUING on as if nothing happened. I will probably extend it by another weekend to make up for today, esp. if I don't go visit my fiance.
