breaking food addiction

I know what is blocking me from my psychic development and unfolding. It is my never ending addiction/obsession with food. It makes me sad that I can't do anything for myself in that area for very long. I pray to God that He give me strength and support my intention to be healthy. Tomorrow I want to fast. fast for one half of a day till 12 pm. Lord willing and Blessed Virgin Mary help me.
