rainy day meditations
miscellaneous ramblings for the evening
Date: 4/30/2005 7:49:54 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1619 times Hello everyone. It's raining here in New York. I'm trying to figure out what's making my tummy acid. Here's what I ate today as much as I can remember:
coffee with a bit of cereal because I was running out to the beauty parlor oh but I did have a glass of lemon about an hour before
later when I got back home after my boss' son showed up I had a grapefruit/carrot(not that much carrot)
My stomach started going ouchie so I had some coconut oil which helped a little...maybe I'm just eating too many acid foods. Coffee never did this to me and that's real acid. I have to really stop drinking coffee because maybe I am confusing my belly.
Oh well... anyway, it's damp and I'm here :-) My hair looks good, big and bushy from a good pre-rinse in apple cider vinegar. I washed it with some tea shampoo and then put in a conditioner. My sister blowdried it for me which saved me about $25 at the shop. I've been having my facial hair threaded which is natural because there's no acne causing beeswax on my face. I think I'm sensitive to the wax and the pulling is quite painful, more painful than beeswax. I used to be very staunch about hair trimming just doing my upper lip and chin. My arms and privates are like jungles now and whenever I lift my arm up my mother starts nagging me about shaving my pits. She's so conformist :-)
My teeth feel much better since I started brushing them with pure black soap.
I've started using my proeus mind machine on a regular basis. I bought it for $200 so now I'm using it! http://www.3pounduniverse.com/shopping/default.asp
I'm listening to some David Wolfe tapes for motivation. I have a Joe Alexander tape but I need to listen to it on my walkman (yes I still have one!). I wonder if I can transfer it to CD in some way.
Powerwalking tomorrow in Central Park...It's going to be a GREAT day. I started reading the Silva Method for fitness and I'm employing the technique of cancelling negative thoughts. Rain doesn't exactly inspire happiness :-)
