Got Dialogue?
Understanding the new community.

This writer has suggested here (and elsewhere) that it is not possible to have authentic community without dialogue - because (according to M. Scott Peck[*] in his masterpiece "A Different Drum") dialogue is an ability that is obtained through a transformational process that leads to its culmination in its fourth stage. Therefor when no authentic and consistent dialogue exists throughout a group it is symptomatic of an earlier stage in the four-fold process, probably the second stage of chaos.
[*] M. Scott Peck, a Harvard and Case Western Reserve-trained psychologist, wrote what is essentially the first self-help book, "The Road Less Travelled", in 1978[5]*

Rhetorical questions are essentially diametrically opposite that of the true spirit of dialogue.

September 25, 2022 - "The new paradigm" -
"...In brief, our understanding of truth and reality has been undergoing a radical shift. The new paradigm which is being born understands all statements about reality, especially about the meaning of things, to be historical, praxial or intentional, perspectival, language-limited or partial, interpretive, and dialogic. Our understanding of truth statements, in short, has become 'deabsolutized' — it has become 'relational,' that is, all statements about reality are now seen to be related to the historical context, praxis intentionality, perspective, etc. of the speaker, and in that sense no longer 'absolute.' Therefore, if my perception and description of the world is true only in a limited sense, that is, only as seen from my place in the world, then if I wish to expand my grasp of reality I need to learn from others what they know of reality that they can perceive from their place in the world that I cannot see from mine. That, however, can happen only through dialogue."[4]

November 22, 2021 - Probably The Biggest Lesson! -
Most probably the biggest lesson that this writer learned in his years of extended awakening to the true nature of the "enchanted garden intentional community" (and all that was entailed in living in that place) was asserting his essential need to have all the terms of his agreements perfectly well-defined. The shared reality of that clarity is possibly the most important possible outcome of "dialogue" (that he has advocated) and not so much the "community" aspect as for: "closing the door to psychopathy"!
It's not an actual community but just a struggling house of renters who do not truly share a high ideal as would be required for any genuine community.

"There is no cure for arrogance except humiliation and there is absolutely no recognized cure for psychopaths and sociopaths."[3]

Comment: (Initially drafted here at the moment of this posting) -
"Arrogance" is the "Shadow" at the 31st Gene Key[3]* which means that the individual who becomes aware of their arrogance could possibly "Embrace" this frequency and allow the release of the "Gift" of "Leadership" - however this blog-writer is not expecting that to happen with the subjects that were named in the article by Dr. Mark Sircus.[2]

June 10, 2027 - Do you know what dialogue[1] is? .........
If so do you have dialogues in your daily life? .........
If so then you might possibly have a healthy social life and if so I am happy for you!
If you don't have dialogue then (IMO) you had better watch out - because the door to psychopathy is open!
