Day 20
Wardrobe to Narnia
Date: 8/9/2016 8:22:26 AM ( 8 y ) ... viewed 542 times Day 20 - going to be brief as its late - was busy busy all day, got a few new e-bay garments and spent the day trying on all my different tops with the new bottoms and also did a big wardrobe clean and re-organize, took a few things out for selling - I have a very full closet and need to do this - its workable as long as I don't add to it lol - its hard culling but executive decisions need to be made - a bit more space and less squashy is a good thing! My dear mother buys me a lot of clothes also, some of which are very nice, some of which are nice enough not to discreetly give to a friend or op shop etc and some never make my closet -- some of the nice enough along with a few older things I never wear have been neatly piled in the sell on e-bay pile of my bedroom floor - sale coming immanently.
The other positive from all my princess hard work today (its hard work being a girl and going thru your whole wardrobe!) was that I found a bunch of lovely outfits that worked great with the new bottoms (2 very loose fitting elegant pairs of leather pants & one totally form fitting pair of very cool leggings with real leather patches and zips) - I feel I should bring the lost ghost of Jim Morrison and Grace Jones back even if singlehandedly - why does almost no one wear enough leather anymore --- anyway... Have I mentioned I'm a theatrical eccentric yogi?
yes...
There were 3 tops that I really liked and they were super cool but just never wore nicely with any pants I owned and I had put them in the to sell pile, but amazingly when it came time to try out the leggings, these three tops were the best things I owned with them so they got totally purposed again and wow, am really happy to finally have something that works with them - total score... You know you might have an awesome garment, but if you don't have the right other garments to go with that it just can't work... Is there some kind of life lesson in here lol...
Anyway, I messed around with my clothes all day and cleaned my room and cupboards up in the process, had a cup of coffee, the last glass of my oj yogurt tumeric drink with some ice cubes and ended up a bit wow is it that late low blood sugarish around 6pm when it was Last Custard Apple Day, mmmm mmmmm - cleaned up the kitchen as somebody had dropped a bomb in there (males yeesh) and as I received a lovely pack of vanilla beans in the mail only yesterday I set about adding one bean to my first juice drink of custard apple, half a pear, half a green apple and milk and water with some ambrosia (a very special cancer fighting hive nectar I used to sell)
Then I made a second juice with the skin, a little banana peel my friend had left, the other half pear plus 2 whole kiwi's, 1.5 green apples and water - a little bitter, added some of the special hive nectar and cinnamon and a bit more milk and it was quite nice - my juicer is not liking the custard apple skin - will have to use only really soft ones in the future or soak them overnight or just forget it - I do like the flavor but this one wasn't as nice as the smaller softer ones either... something to remember... Had juicer issues, my friend saved me (yes, they do have their good points :) and got back to a few emails - now kind of time to wind it down, got my first sharp cramp today signifying the period I've been expecting all week which is probably the latest its ever been now is on its way - I knew it was coming but always a relief - I'm not sure if its the fasting or just aging that's slowing it down - its' only the 2nd time its been late like this - not sure if the 1st time I was also fasting, I'll have to check that.
Going to watch a bit of internet telly and drink some broth and some of the rinse water that went thru the juicer after the kiwi drink - feel like I should hydrate with some water as I haven't had so much today and more milky drinks - I also had a little food again, about the same 1/2 cup of chicken - a 1/2 tsp of butter, pb and caramel spread, 1 very small avocado as well today - I'm going to the city in a couple days and I'm going to slowly eat a good quality hamburger (maybe not all the bun but def. all the meat) to boost my iron up while I'm there - I'll just keep going on as I have been after that - eating just a little - and continuing on with juices. Really enjoying this and would like to slim down further which means I'm not looking to stop what I'm doing any time soon - really glad I was brave and tough enough to do this winter fast, its giving me a big head start for spring and summer - feel like I might really get myself back in youthful shape again this year more than I have been for awhile. I'm also feeling more energized, clean and clear inside and like I haven't even scratched the surface of where this fasting journey could take me on an inner journey. I've developed some anxiety issues these past few years as the result of some difficult times/situations and really stressful stuff I've been through and I'd like to go inwards and untangle that stuff - get myself back to what was always normal for me - not having that anxiety and being a strong minded SOB is much better lol!
Well, till tommorow - wow day 21 already!
