"Every person, at some time or other, undergoes painful life experiences. Pain and suffering are universal human constants. For those who suffer the deep pains of the heart, it is sometimes helpful to remember the suffering of the rest of humanity. No one enjoys the pain of suffering, and most are anxiously trying to escape through many of the ways currently available in modern society. But it is impossible to grow or change unless we embrace the darker side of our consciousness.
Real growth and change almost always involve some conscious suffering. ... The conquest of suffering does not mean we will never feel pain. ... When we touch upon the truth of who we are, which is what the heart represents, we meet both the positive and negative sides of our nature."[39]

"...the dangerous morphine or morphine-like drugs are never used, if the pain gets unbearable, emotional support and intellectual understanding of the process is often enough to help the individual endure. (Dr.) Hamer says that one of the most horrific things about present medicine is that most people with cancer, even with mild pain, are treated with morphine in some form. During the critical (phase), one morphine injection can already be fatal. It changes the brain, paralyzes the intestines and completely disables the restoration functions, well, disables the whole person. He becomes lethargic and doesn't realize that he's in fact being killed, just when he was in the recuperation phase, on his way to health. The pain of the second stage is actually a very good sign of recovery, but modern medicine doesn't understand this at all, and instead interprets it as the opposite; a sign of impending death. These substances are thus administered in order to 'make the end easier', and sure enough, the person soon dies, but it's not of the cancer, it's of the medication..."[37]

German New Medicine (as well as its many inspired off-shoots (Lifestyle Prescriptions, BioDecoding, etc.) explains the biological meaning of every disease. Every negative emotion can be traced to a fear-based feeling and when that feeling is faced and embraced we not only "move beyond" it we release a "Gift" frequency within our consciousness.

In "Maps of The Psyche" this blog-writer presents astrology and astrologically-based systems as tools of consciousness for identifying and responding to suffering. Chiron is an archetype of both the wound and the wounded healer. The archetype deserves to have an evolutionary update - especially for our times now. House placement of natal Chiron reveals the area of life where this energy manifests. The 3rd house description that follows is one example:
3rd House
"Chiron in the 3rd house means that your perception and learning functions are colored by Chiron’s uniqueness and energetic sensitivity. You’ll tend to be sensitive to how others hear you, including your voice and the words you use to attempt to get across to them what you’re thinking. It’s important for you to always remember that you’re hypersensitive to how others take your thoughts, voice, and words, and that you shouldn’t take their reactions to you as indicative of what you’re thinking and saying. A sensitivity to emotions and subtle energetic cues informs how your mind works. When you get over what look like judgments and put-downs from others when you speak or share your thoughts, a unique perspective inspired by and imbued with human sensitivity can come through. You must accept your unique way of processing information and communicating with compassion in order to free your mind to bring its unique contribution to any conversation."[34]
The keynote in this example above is taking what others say or do personally. The antidote is in the "Second Agreement" which says: "Don't Take Anything Personally." This blog-writer has Chiron in his 3rd house and consequently applies the "Second Agreement" on a daily basis whenever any thoughts enter his awareness about what others think.

December 7, 2019 - What Soap is for the Body Tears are for the Soul - By: Dr. Mark Sircus -
Rumi the great mystic poet said, “There is no liquid like a tear from a lover’s eye.” He also said, “There comes a holy and transparent time when every touch of beauty opens the heart to tears. This is the time the Beloved of heaven is brought tenderly on earth. This is the time of the opening of the Rose.”
My Tears Flow My Being Opens Totally
As your heart fills with feelings expand yourself,
prepare to meet the enormity of your own divine being.
The tears of the melting heart
can melt all barriers between you
and your own deeper and higher self.
Jesus wept and we know that the soul takes no space without the tears of the melting heart to grace one’s life. And old Jewish proverb tells us that what soap is for the body tears are for the soul and Psalms 126:5 says “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” and Psalms 30:5 reads, “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning”
Every tear that your heart sheds is a golden drop of sun.
I weigh each one in my heart of hearts
not knowing from which they all come from.
I drink the fluid that runs from your eyes
knowing you better with every drop.
“Man is like an onion. When you peel away the layers, all that is left is tears,” wrote Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav, an Hasidic master. “The fruits of the inner man begin only with the shedding of tears. When you reach the place of tears, then know that your spirit has come out from the prison of this world and has set its foot upon the path that leads towards the new age,” wrote Saint Isaac of Nineveh.
The Heart represents our basic capacity to care and feel. Inside the purified and free heart is a flow, a river, a current, a passion for life and a healing power that no medical treatment can compete with. The greatest force for health is the human heart. The purpose of our life here on this earth is to contact our being, expand and grow our being by coming into a direct relationship with the essence of our heart’s true nature. And what is this true nature? The heart is the vulnerability of being.
Emotional intelligence comes with an appreciation
of each feeling’s role and function in our awareness.
Life stripped of feelings is a life stripped of meaning.
Emotional tears heal the heart by returning us to it. Thus crying makes us feel better even if we are not better or the situation is not improving. Dr. Judith Orloff says, “It is good to cry. It is healthy to cry. This helps to emotionally clear sadness and stress. Crying is also essential to resolve grief, when waves of tears periodically come over us after we experience a loss. Tears help us process the loss so we can keep living with open hearts. Otherwise, we are a set up for depression if we suppress these potent feelings. When a friend apologized for curling up in the fetal position on my floor, weeping, depressed over a failing romance, I told her, ‘Your tears blessed my floor. There is nothing to apologize for.’
Dr. Orloff wrote, “For over 20 years as a physician, I’ve witnessed time and again the healing power of tears. Tears are your body’s release valve for stress, sadness, grief, anxiety and frustration. Also, you can have tears of joy, say when a child is born, or tears of relief when a difficult time has passed. In my own life, I am grateful when I can cry. It feels cleansing, a way to purge pent up emotions so they don’t lodge in my body as stress symptoms such as fatigue or pain. To stay healthy and release stress, I encourage my patients to cry. For both men and women, tears are a sign of courage, strength and authenticity.”
We cannot begin to flow towards another person or towards our own higher or inner being until the psychic skin covering the heart is removed. The tears of the melting heart are the key to disperse the cobwebs of our mind releasing us into the mysterious depths of our hearts, so let your tears flow to purify yourself of your mental stress and negativity.
HeartHealth is now a free online comprehensive exploration and journey into the center of pure feeling. The most obvious confirmation that we are in fact moving in and through the door way to our deeper beings are our vulnerable tears. Not the tears of self-pity, but the simple welling up feeling that almost always accompanies the crossing and crisscrossing of the barriers between the heart and the head. These tears are more like a divine fluid. The tears of the heart are precious and the pure in heart always cherish the liquid river of tears.
When we first open the heart a river of feelings is released which swamps the mind and its habitual defenses. We feel overwhelmed because our usual cool control is lost. The coolness of the separate personality is swept away as familiar ground moves from under our feet. Though most fear this moment, it is such a release, such a lightening of our load. Our real self is freed from the iron grip our ego normally holds over heart consciousness.
When we open our hearts we are surrendering ourselves to the vastness
and strength and love of God. We open ourselves and make ourselves
vulnerable to a great being that is one with all beings. Open to
experience, open to it all. It’s thrilling and sometimes
even terrifying. Open to love and this is something else again.
A Secret Cause of Disease – Loss of Heart
Disease can show us how invulnerable we have become, how walled off we are from the world and our own inner reality of pure being. One of the great secrets of life has to do with the power of the heart and what a return to its vulnerability can offer a person sick or dying of disease.
There is a quality of heart and pure being that can be called grace. The grace of the heart offers us a quality of being that is healing, animating, invigorating, supporting, nurturing, and comforting. The grace of the heart offers an inner tranquility and peace that the mind by itself rarely possesses.
Dr. Steven Stosny writes about the strong resistance we have to vulnerability saying, “Your core vulnerability is the emotional state that is most dreadful to you, in reaction to which you’ve developed the strongest defenses. Other states of vulnerability are more tolerable if they avoid stimulating your core vulnerability and less bearable when they don’t. For most people, either fear (of harm, isolation, deprivation) or shame (of failure) constitutes their core vulnerability.”
However when we face our deepest fears and vulnerabilities we become stronger and more capable of giving and receiving love. Deep in the nuclear core of the heart is a love of life and a love of love. Some beings come here to earth with such a strong heart that no circumstance can beat it out of them. In them is a furnace of heart energy and like the sun it will not be denied though they might have to go through great struggles to release and express this energy.
When fighting serious diseases like cancer we need to access the power and strength of our hearts, of love, because this will strengthen our immune systems and give us the will to change the things we need to change and face what we must, even if its death or the death of a loved one. Life is demanding more heart, more love and thus more tears if we wish to navigate through the increasing stresses of life without being ripped apart.[32]

May 19, 2018 - Tom Cowan, M.D. -
Soon after I moved to California, almost 15 years ago, I received a notice saying that all physicians in California needed to take and pass a course on pain management to renew their license. The motivation behind this initiative, we were told, was that pain syndromes were left unrecognized and inadequately treated in the U.S. to an alarming degree. We were told that because of new drugs, physicians now could see to it that no person was left to suffer with chronic pain.
About a month ago, I took a follow-up class largely devoted to the state of pain management in 2018. We learned that as a result of the initiatives to effectively treat patients with pain, mostly with newer opiate medicines, at least tens of thousands of people died. Countless other people have had their lives devastated as a result of chronic opiate use, benzodiazepine use (medicines such as Valium, Librium, Xanax, etc.), or the deadly combination of opiates and “benzos.”
Physicians, encouraged by pharmaceutical companies, created what many call an epidemic of tragic proportions, not only for the individuals whose health was undermined through chronic medication use, but also for their families and communities. We even heard that a new study indicated that the chronic use of prescription sleeping pills, which an extraordinary percentage of older Americans uses, dramatically increases the all-cause mortality rate. The course was designed to alert us to the dangers these drugs cause and to teach us how to “safely” and “legally” prescribe them.
Most of the doctors in the room were older practitioners, most in solo or small-group practices; in other words, part of the dying breed. The sense of despair and futility in the room was palpable, as these men and women were aware that, given the constraints of their practices, they have no effective way to comply with the regulations concerning opiate prescriptions. Perhaps more important, most have no clue what to tell their patients who are in pain, as they have no other tools in their toolbox besides pharmaceutical medicines. All they know is how to prescribe drugs, and yet it is crystal clear that these substances are literally killing people. This is clearly a horrible situation for these doctors and the patients who rely on them for their care. ...[18]

"...When we move upward from unconsciousness, we start to become interested in our growth and betterment rather than floating around in a state of stupor. We start to use our creative power and our sexuality consciously rather than being led around by it irresponsibly.
As we move upward to the resonance of apathy, we begin to confront our masculine / feminine relationship issues, and start to create mutual respect, balance and equality in our relations. We start to care about that which is going on in more than just in our own lives.
As we move upward to the solar plexus and are willing to feel and heal our grief, guilt and self- judgment, we begin to palpate life, to give and receive, to participate in life.
When we are willing to address our fears, at the Thymus / Heart level, we release our need to judge and learn compassion and become open-hearted.
The level of Anger / thyroid is often time a difficult resonance to address simply because it can be overwhelming and most people have learned to play victim and to place blame outside of self for their experience. Learning to feel one's anger without dumping it outside of self is the key here. To be absolutely still when anger surfaces and to simply feel it without moving the body is an incredibly powerful tool to shift this vibrational resonance. Until we move above this vibrational level we remain in a re-active behavioral mode. Only when we move above this level do we come to understand how we create our reality and can become responsible cocreators of it.
The level of pain and the pituitary is the capstone to arrive to in the healing process. Here is where suppressed memory surface to consciousness. It is when we have the revelations about any issues we hold which frees the neurological patterning that perpetuates the lower order reactive patterns of behavior. Here the key is to be willing to feel the pain , whether mental, emotional or physical associated with our experience. This leads to true freedom and to shift the vibrational level to the pineal, the seat of revelation, epistome, illumination and wisdom."[30]

April 30, 2019 - Acceptance -
Attending to a note I wrote to myself to review the Siddhi in the Gene Keys corresponding with the Gift of Acceptance which is in the 25th Gene Key. It happens to be where the blog-writer has his natal Earth activation. The Siddhi here is "Universal Love." It all fits together so perfectly and especially when I review the Shadow frequency here: Constriction.
I have extensive personal experience with intense constriction throughout all my life. You'll just have to trust that I speak truthfully and without exaggeration so that I don't have to go extensively into "storytelling." I was a prime candidate for a miracle healing especially in regards to intense back pain that I was continually suffering and consequently on disability for. The "miracle" came during an Enlightenment Intensive (EI) when I was contemplating the truth of what I am. I was in pain and having a difficult time just being in my body and simply sitting in the dyad. The EI master suggested that I choose to directly contemplate the pain in my back. I followed her suggestion in my next turn and that's when the miracle occurred. By directly facing and contemplating my pain - my heart burst open with all-encompassing love that flooded by body - causing the pain to disappear! .........
The 25th Gene Keys presentation is not only deeply meaningful to me personally it is presented as "the essence of the entire work" of all 64 Gene Keys! I highly recommend getting a copy of the Gene Keys and reading this one first if you are suffering from pain.
There are some quotes from this Gene Key (identified with added "quotation" marks through the first few paragraphs) blended in the following:
Acceptance represents one of the greatest and most powerful of all human gifts. Acceptance represents the portal to the true nature of the Universe, which is love. The path of love is the path of acceptance, which is not a technique but more of a seeing. In order to accept something about yourself, and especially something uncomfortable, it first must be recognized. This kind of acceptance takes place when you build up the courage to look into your Shadow.
The Shadow that corresponds to acceptance is Constriction. Because each Gift has a Shadow. When the Shadow is faced and integrated, the Gift gets fully activated. And when this happens the door to your awakening is unlocked.
Constriction exists when love is absent and "is the underlying source of all human suffering." We can feel it in our body, "it creates tightness around the chest and (compresses) tension into the abdomen." We experience this constriction "while we are in the womb", "through the breathing patterns of our parents" and the emotions they have. And during our birth, while we are in the birth channel. It is deep encoded in our DNA, passed from our ancestors as "genetic blueprint." "If you tune into your body you will sense it deep inside you, and your (response or) reaction to this discomfort defines the shape of your life." "If you (recoil) from the pain, you will live a life of denial and distraction", lost in mediocrity. "A half-life." "The harder you (choke down) the pain inside you", the more it will weight you down. "However, if you have the courage to honour and listen to the" pain, "everything will change for you. You will discover that if something is wound around you, constricting you, it must have a purpose. And that purpose is to unwind. When you face the pain through acceptance, the wound begins to unwind and another higher paradigm (destiny) opens before you."
"To be born/(alive) in a physical body can be experienced as the ultimate constriction, the ultimate limitation. Especially if your reality is rooted in fear. Fear is the result/(by-product) of all low frequency energy fields. ... Fear creates a very effective (biofeedback) loop that ensures its own survival ... fear is afraid of itself, which ensures that it never accepts itself, which ensures that it always survives. ... The deepest fear of all is the fear of not existing, the fear of death. ..."
The only way to break this loop is to have the courage to simply feel the fear. As soon as you reduce the fear down to its essence, which is a physical sensation deeply encoded within the chemistry of your body, you discover the secret of acceptance. You are no longer afraid of fear. In allowing yourself to experience the pure fear, you begin to feel a subtle softening around your chest and slowly your breathing changes, it becomes deeper. Your heart slowly opens.
The process of accepting whatever you feel at any given moment will transform you and after a while you will really feel different. You are moving out of the low frequencies of victim Consciousness and experiencing higher levels of Consciousness. The frequency of suffering will still exist and it will keep returning to test your level of acceptance. Over time your acceptance deepens further until you finally let go of your need to escape the pain. At this stage the acceptance becomes complete.
It is important to understand that this is a process. Acceptance is not something you can easily learn. The technique, if you want to call it that, is to be aware in each moment and practice the acceptance of whatever the Universe brings in your path. The paradox is that any attempt at trying to accept your nature only reveals a subtle level of unacceptance.
When you can finally accept everything in your life just as it is right now, you will transcend your human condition. You will walk through life with an air of coming from another world, while at the same time you are grounded and open to help others. You will carry the seed of love. And people will sense this at a subconscious level when they are in your presence.
Everyone in your life is part of your own wound and the healing of that wound. Through acceptance you will begin to feel the extent of your pain and you will understand that is all about you. All events, all the characters you met in your life have one role: to help you heal and awaken. You don’t have to be afraid of the pain as it is the direct and the only way leading to your heart.
Acceptance comes in layers. You have to relax these layers deep inside you, so that you can feel the flow of love moving within your being. The more you accept yourself and others, the more love will come in your life. The deeper you move into acceptance the more you open your heart to human pain, so the pain can be transformed. And the more pain you transform, the more love you feel. It is as simple as that.

April 27, 2019 - Some Essential Nutrition to Support the Body's Ability to Respond to Pain -
Regarding: Carolyn Dean MD ND - The Doctor of the Future® About Back Pain and Nerve Pain -
The fight against back pain and nerve pain can take many forms. Low back pain affects over 35% of American’s and can be a serious problem for people especially when it comes to lost time from work. Neuropathy has challenges of its own and can be equally debilitating.
Speak to most any chiropractor and they will let you know that the structural integrity of the body is key treating and preventing back and nerve pain. Talk to Dr. Dean and she’ll let you know that structural treatment has its place but will only take you so far if you are magnesium, mineral or nutrient deficient!
For example, clinical experience and research in nerve pain conditions such as pancreatic cancer has shown that magnesium can be an effective treatment for pain. Although it is clear why magnesium can decrease muscle pain (it makes muscles relax), why magnesium relieves nerve pain has become equally clear and beneficial for people who suffer from pain.
A major mechanism of pain is the excessive stimulation of a brain chemical called “NMDA.” The few medications that help decrease and balance this pain-carrying neurotransmitter have the downside of causing significant side effects. But, guess what? Magnesium seems to settle down NDMA without the toxicity! A therapeutic magnesium like ReMag can be used to get a substantial and beneficial amount of magnesium into the body to settle down muscles and nerves! Not only does magnesium helps calm both the nervous system and your muscles – helping to ease nerve related pain but it can also ease anxiety and promote better sleep – which can be hugely beneficial to those whose back or nerve pain makes sleep difficult.
ReMag benefits:
Helps regulate and reduce inflammation
Calms overactive nervous system
Calms muscles
Eases nerve pain
Promotes better sleep
ReMyte Mineral Solution is the ultimate electrolyte solution. Electrolytes are ionic conductors of electrical current in the body. They are dissolved in bodily fluids and travel throughout the body ready to activate nerve cells and muscle cells for electrical and physical activity. Electrolytes also regulate, effect and affect metabolism at every level of the body.
ReMyte goes far beyond most electrolyte solutions by providing one dozen minerals in the unique picometer, ionic size that allows for complete absorption at the cellular level. Thus the potency of the minerals can be very low, eliminating any possibility of toxicity, yet when 100% absorbed at the cellular level, these minerals are highly effective.
ReMyte Benefits:
Bone health
Blood vessel integrity
Blood sugar balance
Thyroid support
Cancer protection
Immune system
Dr. Dean’s ReAline formula contains therapeutic values of methylated vitamin B12 as well a whole host of other methylated B vitamins, taurine, and methionine. According to the Journal of Neurological Science, vitamin B12 may increase protein synthesis and help in the regeneration of nerves. In ultra-high doses, it is shown to produce nerve regeneration. In addition to helping in the regeneration of damaged nerves, vitamin B12 is essential for maintaining healthy nerves and protecting them from damage. B12 helps build and support the myelin sheath, a layer of protective tissue around the nerves. This protective coating helps protect sensitive nerve tissue from foreign threats. If the myelin sheath is damaged or weakened, you may begin to experience neuropathic pain as the nerves have difficulty properly sending and receiving electric signals.
ReAline Benefits:
Promotes nerve health
Helps repair, rebuild and maintain the myelin sheath – a protective coating around the nerves
Provides methylated Vitamin B-12 which promotes regeneration of damaged nerves (when taken in high doses)[27]

November 7, 2019 - "Discontinuing Benzodiazepines", By: Carolyn Dean MD ND - The Doctor of the Future® -
A Medscape article asked “What Is the Best Way to Discontinue Benzodiazepines?”
But it turns out no one has the answer to that important question. But, of course I have my opinion and my recommendations.
“Approximately about 4% of the population use benzodiazepines, and prolonged treatment is common despite clinical recommendations for short-term use. Discontinuing benzodiazepines is difficult for many patients and it is unclear which pharmacologic interventions are best to facilitate tapering.”
So, there you have it in the first paragraph. In order to discontinue benzos you have to use another drug. In a comparison of 18 trials, “it was not possible to draw firm conclusions regarding pharmacologic interventions for facilitating benzodiazepine discontinuation in chronic benzodiazepine users.” Oops! We give these drugs, we prescribe them for more than the recommended 2-weeks; and then we turn our backs on people when they get addicted.
The writer concluded that “All we know is that weaning patients from benzodiazepines is best done very slowly and is often painful for our patients.” He said: “I often manage very slow tapers that last between 6 months and a year. It seems that most patients can manage this, but I have no evidence beyond my clinical impression to back up my opinion.”
He admitted that “Given the millions of people worldwide who take benzodiazepines long-term, we are desperately short of data and high-quality randomized trials aimed at developing evidence-based withdrawal protocols. These need to occur.”
No, we do not have to do drug trials to find out how to get people off drugs. We have to “do something completely different.”
I know, let’s do magnesium (ReMag) and methylated Bs (ReAline). That’s what we do and that’s what we recommend, and that’s what seems to be helping people build up their nutrient stores and support the structure and function of a perfect body.
Magnesium deficient-anxiety is unnecessarily treated with benzodiazepines. Here’s how I speak about anxiety in The Magnesium Miracle (2017). -
How do we graduate from being a calm person in control of our nervous system to an anxious, fearful individual? I think it’s due to a gradual but chronic decrease in magnesium reserves. When the body is stressed – and it can be for a dozen different reasons, our magnesium reserves dump this crucial mineral into our blood stream and we immediately become one of those people blessed with the ability to cope. We are both calm and alert. Our friends and relatives think it’s just who we are but it’s really how much magnesium we have in reserve.
If the stress continues and we don’t rest or replace our magnesium between episodes, our magnesium stores become depleted. Then, when you are faced with the next stressor, your stress hormones (adrenalin and cortisol) don’t activate your magnesium reserves with a calming effect. Instead, adrenalin revs up your heart rate, elevates your blood pressure, and tenses your muscles in a fight or flight reaction.
Millions of people try unsuccessfully to cope with their problems or medicate their stress with overeating, cigarettes, alcohol, street drugs, and other addictive behaviors to suppress their pain. We are a nation suffering a 32 percent incidence of anxiety, depression, and drug problems. Instead of treating stress reactions properly with magnesium, each year millions of people are introduced to the merry-go-round of psychiatric drugs and psychological counseling for symptoms that may in fact be rooted in magnesium deficiency.
You’re stressed out, not sleeping, tense, and irritable and you don’t know that simply taking a good magnesium supplement could pull you out of that downward spiral. All these symptoms are interwoven as you can see from the following cases of people who fortunately discovered that much of their suffering was due to magnesium deficiency.
I repeat: Let’s do magnesium (ReMag) and methylated Bs (ReAline). That’s what we do and that’s what we recommend, and that’s what seems to be helping people build up their nutrient stores and support the structure and function of a perfect body.[22]

January 27, 2019 - "A way of awakening, of liberation from the illusions of ignorance and the afflictions those illusions induce."
All the words of the Buddha were recorded in writing and have been preserved in the Tibetan tradition in a collection of 108 volumes called the Kangyur, which means "the translation of the Buddha's words." ... In addition to the Kangyur, which forms the basic canon of the tradition, there are all the commentaries and treatises that India's leading sages, scholars, and adepts subsequently composed in order to clarify Buddha's teachings. This collection is called the Tengyur, which means "the translation of the commentaries." The entire collection originally contained 240 volumes, of which only 215 remain today. In addition to the Kangyur and Tengyur, there are the thousands of volumes of commentaries by Tibetan scholars and adepts. This collection is known as the Sungbum. All these teachings of the Buddha offer a way of awakening, of liberation from the illusions of ignorance and the afflictions those illusions induce. They are the remedies for the three fundamental mental poisons of desire, hatred, and ignorance, and all the resulting afflictive emotions. In their many subdivisions and combinations, these three basic poisons can result in up to 84,000 types of mental afflictions.[24]

The teachings of Buddha are most essentially three-fold: Do no harm, perfectly effect what is beneficial and discipline the mind. I find all of this attainable by adopting: "The Four Agreements." Four agreements vs "thousands of volumes" regarding "the words of the Buddha." This blog-writer likes to keep it simple! ; ~ )

June 12, 2018 - "On some level, we understand this, yet we resist it
From 'Suffering Opens the Real Path'[20] by Norman Fischer -
Dukkha refers to the psychological experience—sometimes conscious, sometimes not conscious—of the profound fact that everything is impermanent, ungraspable, and not really knowable. On some level, we all understand this. All the things we have, we know we don’t really have. All the things we see, we’re not entirely seeing. This is the nature of things, yet we think the opposite. We think that we can know and possess our lives, our loves, our identities, and even our possessions. We can’t. The gap between the reality and the basic human approach to life is dukkha, an experience of basic anxiety or frustration."[19]
-
The above came form search results for: "humans need to suffer in order to understand" inspired from the following:
When someone proposes a policy inspired by generosity and concern for the most deprived, very few people decide to support them. But if they talk about overthrowing the powers that be to seize the positions and privileges they exercise, this person is backed by a crowd. What conclusion can we draw? That humans still need to suffer. Perhaps one day, because of their suffering, they will come to understand what concerns and activities will help them to flourish. You think I am cruel? No, it saddens me to say so, but humans need to suffer in order to understand. When a messenger from heaven appears – someone who can enlighten them on the direction to take – not only do they turn a deaf ear, but they often persecute them. And when a criminal comes along who will lead them to disaster, they welcome them, they cheer them on and carry them to power – it is they themselves who provide the criminal with the means to destroy them. So, it is clear: humans need to suffer in order to understand once and for all to whom they must listen and whom they should follow.[21] - Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov.

I'm endlessly grateful to share all the potential understanding with others! Earlier this morning in conversation with Chris Lowthert (new medicine practitioner) we both agreed that the need to open this topic up to the public is so extensive that we could spend the rest of our lives devoted just to this!
Chris: "The deep biological purpose behind pain is to act as a 'bio-feedback' loop and give us an opportunity to observe the psyche, the biological mind.
The feedback loop is designed to get our attention. Not to indicate a problem, but a significant truth of Nature. Pain is experienced during the biological healing of the psychophysical instrument." - Christopher Lowthert, DC
The purpose of pain is by and large obscured in Western medicine.[1] During the conversation with Chris I shared an account of having "observed" intense back pain as part of a dyad contemplation that resulted in my deep connection with the truth of my greater self as all-encompassing love! What a contrast between suffering intense back pain and then basking in love the next moment! I fully acknowledge the potential for greater self-awareness as well as Self-realization via "contemplation" on pain with intention to the experience the truth of one's self!

What we have with Western medicine is "... a system that dispenses toxic drugs in an endless stream, killing in the US alone, by conservative estimate, 100,000 people per year. On top of that, medical drugs cause anywhere from two to four millions severe adverse effects annually. ...
Beyond this straight-out destruction, there is the turmoil, suffering, grieving, and confusion that extends in ripples, from each one of the deaths and injuries, to families, friends, and co-workers. The overall effect? Demoralization and the inability to see and think past the emotional pain—which is exactly what you want if you are running a planet."[2]
Is there another way to deal with pain beyond this system? Is it possible to learn how to face, embrace, and understand our pain?

Psycho-Emotional Pain:

A clear example of a sudden, unexpected and over-whelming shock-conflict! Both the message and the messenger / manner of the delivery of this "news" deserves to be considered as well.

09:23 just off the call with Dr. Chris (DC) continuing our conversation on this and related topics.
The element of fear acts as a kind of programming partner in the experience of pain.[7] The greater the fear the more intense the pain. Conversely - pain diminishes with greater acceptance. I have already proven the truth of this to myself over the course of the last couple decades. Whenever I physically "bang" into something I immediately connect the banged part of my body with the object that I had just banged into. As I hold that connection the pain not only greatly diminishes but most often completely disappears! I've had a few big bangs along the way as well!
I believe that a similar approach can be used with internal pain. The purpose for this blog is to begin identifying how that approach can work. Apparently the master key is in "recognizing the fear when it arises".
In addition to the above (from a new medicine perspective) we have an intersection with the "Gene Keys". The "64th Gene Key" could be a good place to start seeing this "intersection". There are a total of twenty-one instances where "pain" is mentioned in this Gene Key presentation![4]
8:39 PM I see communication with pain as part of accepting pain.

This blog post on the "meaning of pain" is not presented as the "end-all" or even an all-inclusive statement on pain. I don't believe there that exists. I believe there is a dimension of chemistry to consider with regards to pain. When it comes to chemistry that leads directly to food and nutrition. High protein foods (rich in amino acids) are a leading nutritional source for the kind of chemistry that can make a difference with chronic pain.[12]

Potential Natural Pain Relief:
"The main take aways
1. Human bodies are mostly hydrogen by volume.
2. Painful inflammation, in muscles and tendons, is often caused by de-hydration.
3. Brown's Gas, applied to the skin, is absorbed and hydrates the body, reducing or eliminating inflammation. The pain disappears and stays gone."[13]

February 4, 2020 - More "Hydration" With Coconut Water - A Natural Rehydration Beverage -
"The hospital doors burst open and in rushed the medical team carrying the body of Ian, a local resident. Just hours before Ian had collapsed to the floor of his home. Barely alive but conscious, he was having difficulty speaking. His entire left side was weak and uncoordinated. That side of his face drooped and was pooling saliva. Ian had just suffered a stroke.
Ian was admitted to the Atoifi hospital, a 100-bed facility on the remote South Pacific Island of Malaita in the Solomon Islands. Over the next 36 days doctors worked to save Ian's life. He had difficulty swallowing and required tube feeding and intermittent intravenous (IV) hydration. His condition grew worse each day. He became weak, shaky, and dizzy. Finally, he was unable to tolerate the tube feedings and began vomiting. Intravenous hydration again became necessary.
Within a few hours the hospital's remaining supply of IV solution was exhausted, putting Ian's life in jeopardy. New supplies weren't expected for several days. Ian's situation became desperate.
With no solution in sight, and Ian's life on the line, his physician made a bold move. The island had a rich supply of coconuts. The physician had heard that on other islands coconut water, the liquid inside the coconut, was successfully used as an emergency IV solution. With no other options available, he decided to administer coconut water directly into the patient's bloodstream. A needle was inserted into the soft eye of a coconut. A tube connected this needle with another that was inserted directly into Ian's arm. Over the next two days he received the water from several coconuts. During this time he made a astounding recovery, so much so that he was well enough after the second day to be released from the hospital. For the 36 days he struggled for survival, commercial IV solution had little effect, but when coconut water was delivered into his bloodstream he made such a miraculous recovery that he was sent home on the 39th day.
Ian's story was reported in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine in 2000. This was not the first instance where coconut water was used as an intravenous rehydration solution. IV coconut water therapy has been around for over 60 years. The first clinical study was reported by a team of doctors in Havana, Cuba in 1942. Previous studies on animals had shown coconut water to be safe when administered intravenously. In this study 12 hospitalized children were given coconut water IVs as part of their treatment. The children tolerated the coconut water well without any adverse effects, demonstrating that coconut water can be used as an IV solution in humans.
At the time this study was published, World War II was raging and before long Japanese and British military doctors were using IV coconut water in field hospitals. After the war, news of the successful use of IV coconut water inspired further investigation and the publication of numerous studies. The consensus among the studies was that fresh coconut water is a suitable substitute for commercial IV solution for rehydration therapy. What makes coconut water useful is that it is naturally sterile (i.e., free of germs), has a chemical profile similar to, although not quite identical to, blood plasma, is low in protein so it does not cause immune or allergic reactions, is well tolerated by the body, supplies essential nutrients, causes no harm, and provides much needed fluid.
Using the juice from the inside of a coconut as an IV solution is not as bizarre as it might sound. The composition of coconut water is remarkably similar to human blood plasma. Like plasma it contains a mixture of sugars, minerals, amino acids, vitamins, hormones, and other substances necessary for growth and development. It is the lifeblood of the coconut embryo.
Coconut water has been a popular beverage in the tropics for generations and it wasn't long before physicians began experimenting with it for oral rehydration. They found that it was just as effective orally as it was intravenously in combating dehydration. Due to coconut water's chemical composition it is absorbed through the intestinal wall quicker than plain water, bringing about a faster recovery and eliminating the need for IV rehydration therapy.
Today coconut water is used worldwide as a home treatment for dehydration-related diseases such as cholera and influenza. Cholera, which is a major health problem in many underdeveloped countries, is characterized by severe diarrhea and vomiting. Death rates from cholera are high. Death, however, is not caused by the infection itself, but by dehydration resulting from the loss of body fluids. Giving cholera patients adequate amounts of coconut water results in a remarkable 97 percent recovery rate. ..."[35]

"As your inner spirit decides to face who you really are, for the first time ever the mind's tricks are witnessed. In that witnessing the mind's long reign over you gradually begins to crumble. The more you watch your mind trying to understand and/or avoid the confusion, the more a shift inside you begins to occur."
Added: "By acknowledging an awareness of soul pain I realized my need for miracles. Earlier I had just written affirmatively: 'I most certainly deserve all natural expressions of miracles throughout all my thinking and in every thought I am aware of now.' Something must have been corrected through doing that as I soon followed my attraction for and through an article and inspired I then searched out another one that gave great highlight to 'Imagination'. The power of 'Imagination' inspired my search to the Human Design System/Gene Keys for the Hexagram/Gate/Gene Key of Imagination. Now re-reading the 64th Gift of Imagination I find: '...this is one of the roles of meditation — to allow this pain to rise to the surface of your awareness so that it can be transmuted. All it takes is willingness to feel the pain, and the miracle begins.'"[17]
