Your Perception Controls Your Biology

All our behavior, all our actions and movement were based on proteins that basically were determined by the DNA code in the nucleus. And people at that time thought that the nucleus was the brain of the cell, but then they found out, and that’s basically the work of Bruce Lipton, that in the new paradigm we have to accept that perception actually controls the biology in terms of what comes from outside, the primary signal that we perceive, through a kind of chemical switch then creates a signal that actually tells the DNA to synthesize proteins and then produce behavior action, movement, and life.
So in this sense, how we perceive the world really controls what comes out of the DNA, and then translate it into what frequency the 64 Gene Keys take in each of our cells. This is embodiment. This is the biological basis of embodiment. We are responsible for how we deal with our perception. ..."

I am committed to seeing beyond all my perceptions. A Course In Miracles has inspired me to allowing myself to "seeing" and thereby to true knowing! Earlier today I had a perception of some of my houesemates who were gathered together in the dinning room for a Christmas dinner and that surprised me to see that as I had no notice of the event! I immediately assumed that everyone had been invited but me and I reacted to that thought.
Before too long I realized that my reaction was entirely based on my perception and that I could ask myself "Is this a true perception?" Maybe the dinner wasn't planned but a spontanious happening.
Later I learned that according to another housemate one housemate decided to have the dinner and invite some of her friends. I percieved that perspective (whether accurate or not) as an indication of how I didn't know what the housemate host had in mind and that this "not knowing" was about all I knew plus the fact that "I am committed to seeing beyond all my perceptions"! The good that I realize from this is that I have choice over my emotional reactions and that feels good to me! This is emotional freedom - not to allow my reactive emotions to dominate and thereby disturb my peace.
7:10 PM -
Just returned from the main floor in the house where my housemate is hosting her event here and to my absolute complete surprise a former housemate (and former Dyad partner) whom I hadn't seen in months unexpectedly walked into the kitchen (where I was in the process of getting my lacto-femenrted drink for my bath) and started talking to me in a most causual manner for which I was not prepared to suddenly have to shift my attention to be in (what I would call) a conscious co-creative communication with this man. (As I just indicated I was focused on my task-at-hand and intending to do that as efficiently as possible in order to spend as little time as possibly could in the kitchen while my housemate host was using it to do "her thing".) Nevertheless I know that I need to allow what life brings me and most certainly always do my best to be as present as I possibly can at any given moment.
To allow for the possibility of a deeper understanding (for the readers here) regarding my individual human experience in this incident I imagine that it would be helpful to know my Human Deisgn and how it works! Essentially (as it pertains to this example) I am not a spontanious individual and consequently I mostly don't engage with others spontainiously and especially not with any visitors. My design works by my planning and thereby preparing for my encounters, engagements, activiites and involvements with others. This is virtually universally true for me and therefore includes all my realtionships with others.
I have both a social capacity and a deep need for aloneness and when I am in the aloneness mode I stick with it untill that cycle is complete and I am truly ready, willing and fully able to come out of that in order to engage with others. When I am in the aloneness mode I am not social. To deny that would be a lie! I am not willing to lie about that!
Also I live "The Four Agreememts". With my committment to the 2nd and 3rd Agreements I don't take anything others say/don't say, do/don''t do personally and I am not willing to make assumptions about others. These agreements works very well for me!

"... a blessedly unscientific explanation of (Bruce) Lipton’s mind-expanding logic and what is known as epigenetics, 'the study of inherited changes in phenotype (appearance) or gene expression caused by mechanisms other than changes in the underlying DNA sequence.'
'Medicine does miracles,' he said, 'but it’s limited to trauma. The AMA protocol is to regard our physical body like a machine, in the same way that an auto mechanic regards a car. When the parts break, you replace them—a transplant, synthetic joints, and so on—and those are medical miracles.
'The problem is that while they have an understanding that the mechanism isn’t working, they’re blaming the vehicle for what went wrong. They believe that the vehicle, in this case our bodies, is controlled by genes.
'But guess what? They don’t take into consideration that there’s actually a driver in that car. The new science, epigenetics, reveals that the vehicles—or the genes—aren’t responsible for the breakdown. It’s the driver.'
In essence, if you don’t know how to drive, you’re going to mess up the vehicle. ..."[1]

In Human Design we refer to the mechanics of our design and how essential it is to know and understand how the mechanics of your design works otherwise by operating your "vehicle" contrary to your design can cause harm to it. Prime examples are given with regards to the Heart Center and the Throat Center. Whole body health awareness is identified with the Spleen Center. Making decisions with the mind rather than according to the mechanics of one's design is also a source of stress that impacts health. Additional examples can be given that all relate to the "vehicle" but from a more energetic and highly intelligent perspective rather than from a medically materialistic perspective. And there is a "driver" included in the Human Design perspective as well however the driver is not you!
