Traditional wisdom is universally found within each of the cultures and therfore there are many ancient "wise traditions". One of the oldest is ayurveda. I am the most blessed to have a new housemate who is connected with this traditional wisdom stream! In fact this graduate philosophy student just gifted me with several of his connections in ayurveda. The first one is his personal health practitioner whom I am beginning to be introduced to by way of the practitioner's writings.
The four connections that were gifted to me came about when I expressed my inspiration to my housemate (all in the same conversation) that I could consider creating another documentary-type production on real milk that includes more of the spiritual aspects from different cultures and possibly starting from an ayruvedic perspective. Arun Deva was the first of the four of my housemates offerings to me.:
"Ayurveda strongly recommends a glass of warm milk with ginger and cinnamon at bedtime to help one sleep.":

I'm going to try the ginger and cinnamon in my goat miilk clabber warmed up.

"A most wonderful article! Imbued with an abundance of love, compassion and insight all badly needed thoughout the collective psyche of our modern world. This nourishes my inspiration for more DVD creations continuing from where I left off with 'Raw Milk: The Whole Truth'.:

The Ayurvedic View on Drinking Milk
"According to ayurveda, milk provides special and unique nutrition that cannot be derived from any other type of food. Milk, when digested properly, nourishes all the tissues, promotes balanced emotions, and helps to balance all the doshas. It is one of the most important foods to promote ojas.
According to ayurveda, ojas is a refined substance the body produces from the most subtle level of proper digestion. Ojas brings strength, strong immunity, happiness, and contentment according to Ayurveda. Therefore milk is a very important food to include regularly in one's diet especially if you follow a vegetarian lifestyle."

However, I do not recommend fully boiling the milk as this page states. Warming to a drinkable temperature will be much better for both the milk (if it is real/raw milk) and anyone drinkingh it.
I have been drinking raw goat milk clabber for well over a year straight and I can't fully tell you just how contented I am having this plus some additonal whey, goat cheese, fresh pastured eggs (and a couple other items) as the lion's share of my diet now! I wish everyone could be as contented and happy!
