He claims all sorts of problems arise from being off in venous blood plasma Ph. He says the ideal Ph is 7.46, and even the "healthy" range touted by the USDA 7.35-7.45 can
cause all sorts of problems for many people (essentially the further you get from 7.46, the worse off you'll be).
To me this ties in well to WAP's (Weston A. Price) findings. Those people ate very simple food that was from a long line of traditions, and the food was ideally suited to the climate and body type/activity level of the indigenous people. If you notice what they eat you'll see this is true. In Peru people were eating much more grains and
veggies and in Northern North America people were eating more fat and protein. This suited them and if it didn't suit a person born in that area I'm sure they probably died.
We live in a very heterogeneous culture and we
have food from all around the world. Finding the food that is right for you is not so easy under these conditions. This is why observing your body is key."
