Good Day for conspiracy theorists
Lying and conspiring to go to war, approving torture - these are the revelations coming out now.

In Britian, they are finally speaking openly about the fact that the invasion of Iraq was being discussed at least two years before the WTC 9/11 incident. That is a huge score for people who believe that Bush 2 lied about going to war, which is an impeachable offence; we were screaming for Bush's impeachment in 2004; maybe we can still get a war crimes charge going against GW Bush. Tony Blair could also be in big trouble. Conspiracy theorists love to see Prime Ministers and Presidents of nations go to jail [note - the British hearing underway now cannot bring charges, it is just a hearing].
The revelation that "the Iraq invasion was discussed before 2001" is also fodder for the idea that 9/11 was planned by the Bush Administration, as a reason for needing to invade Iraq. I take the middle road on that theory, in that I believe that Bush and Co. knew it was being planned, and then just sort of let it happen because such an attack would help them build a good case to invade Iraq, topple Saddam [who was making noise about trading oil in Euros in the previous year], and to occupy Iraq as part of the American Enterprise Institute goal of a permanent encampment in the Arab oil region.
But that is only one thing going on now.
There is also the Canadian scandal where Afghan prisoners picked up by Canadian troops in Afghanistan were tortured after being handed over to Afghan prisons. It is a war crime to knowingly allow prisoners to be tortured, and PM Harper apparently knew about these tortures for three years. Ha!! Another national leader going to jail, "oh dear is that drool on my chin?"!! My conspiracy theory tail is wagging!!!
