Kamut ® Second Sprouting Experiment
I am in the middle of setting up three different containers with Khorasan wheat. One has Kamut ® Khorasan Wheat from Montana. This is my test of how the two others grow.

This is my test.
The first has 72 seeds from the Montana batch of Kamut® Ancient Kborasan from Montana
I am soaking this in Purative water.

It is 10:40 am
I have brought in the baskets that were part of my Home Produce Exhibit at the San Diego Country Fair. They are on the dining room table. I have watered the three wine barrels on the front garden with pond water.
I have cleared two pots and added some potting soil on the top...two kinds...
Whole Food Market made from scraps they collect, and Baffalo loam.
I am setting up two trial pots to grow grass.

Took seeds off two more shafts of wheat.
The seeds look healthy.
This is my second attempt to see if I have viable Kamut® seeds from
wheat grown in the Tower Garden.
I harvested one sheath two days before the Fair, June 13 and soaked them.
Then, I attempted to sprout them. There was no germination.
I am going to soak some of the Montana seeds as a test and see how many days it takes for them to sprout.
This is the next important step.
Will They sprout.

The story behind winning the ribbon.
Entered Kamut® non gmo organic ancient grain that was grown in our Tower Garden aeroponic system (and some grown in Wine Barrel in soil) in the Home Produce Contest at the San Diego Fair. We won a first place blue ribbon. Jennifer Galey, the coordinator of the farm, was welcoming. We added Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds to the selection the kids had for prizes in a contest, and gave away a few Eden Food products. First Harvest of Ancient Wheat Grain of KAMUT® June 12, 2013
Today is Wednesday, June 12. I spent the morning working with the
clipped ancient grain harvest of Kamut® that was prematurely cut last Sunday by mistake. I intended to enter this Kamut in the Produce Contest at the San Diego Country Fair later in the month, but will go to the fair this Saturday, June 15.

Handful of healthy Ancient grain of wheat called KAMUT® Khorasan wheat harvested Sunday from the Tower Garden, was shucked today.

I met Claudia Moreno, the wife of César Moreno. César Moreno is running for Municipal President of Tecate in the upcoming election July 7. We were at the World Environment Day event at Professor's Park, June 8, 2013. About one year ago, while staying at Rancho La Puerta, I had a vision that would influence the future of Tecate to be known as the friendliest and most welcoming city in Mexico. Meeting Claudia felt to me like one little step in this direction.

I met one of the creators of this film last September at the
National Heirloom Expo. This is an idea that I have been talking
