Results showed that immune function was enhanced in the women who took daily doses of turkey tail in pill form. (The actual product used in the study was Host Defense Turkey Tail mushroom from Fungi Perfecti.) The researchers reported that the improved immune response was dose dependent and that none of the subjects suffered any adverse effects. The findings were reported in November, 2010, at the International Conference of the Society of Integrative Oncology in New York.

I discovered a new Superhero that last month. At #expowest, The Natural Product Expo West in Anaheim, March 7-8-9-10-11 (My dates there), I had the opportunity to hear Paul Staments speak and meet some of this ”Mushroom People,” my name for this devoted staff.
I treasure a new book that Paul signed called Mycelium Running. It is filled with photos and in depth information. It is an encyclopedia of mushrooms and their healing value.

I was shocked yesterday to come home from #expowest, stop at OB People’s Food and see the picture of Debbie Ford on the cover. The story was about her dying.
I feel a sadness about this. I heard Debbie speak a few years ago and felt a real kinship.
I did not know Debbie personally, but send my deepest condolences to her sister Arielle Ford who has contributed much to my life.

Wow!!! I went to an event tonight at the Hilton. Put my main notebook down as I turned to take a photo. It disappeared from the table.
This notebook contained most of my materials for the next five days.
I had no business taking it with me to the event.
I am not sure how I will regroup.
Tired...
Hard to believe I could have drawn such a experience to myself.
I am generally so protected in what I do.
I have the number of the lost and found but no one is there at this time.
