We’re in the process of making changes that we want to tell you about. We’re expanding and looking for more ways to live up to the “connection” part of our name. Basically it’s about evolving with the times. It’s time for us to do more online—with an emphasis on more.
We’ve always focused on the print magazine and, with a few exceptions, what appears online is what we printed. We have included several MP3s online so people could listen to the interviews we’ve done in print, we’ve added some banner ads and it’s formatted differently, but otherwise, its been pretty much the same content—what’s in print is what’s online.
What we will be doing next month, with the help and skills of a very talented team (more on that later), is to begin offering more ways of connecting, more articles and more resources than we are able to offer in print. There’s a lot more we can do online, if only because we are not as limited when it comes to the space we have.

PROPS TO THE LIFE CONNECTION EXPANDING ONLINE
Just talked to Steve Hays of The Life Connection, one of the oldest of San Diego Magazines serving the raising awareness and consciousness in our city.
He is expanding his online presence, and this is very exciting to me.
I love support The Life Connection whenever possible.
Steve was very helpful for the Launch of my Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza last year. During that time i was working full time for the Passage of Prop 37. My ideas were just evolving. I saw that in order to win Prop 37 we would need a simple majority of people to vote Yes. That number was 7.5 and a few more (+ 2). I called it the 7.5 Million + 2 Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza.
The premise I was developing was that in order to pass GMO Labeling, we needed to overcome the massive disconnection with nature that has allowed the success of GMO proliferation in the first place. A nation of gardeners is more attuned to healthy growing practices.
More and more people today, even gardeners have been taken in by the Biotech approaches, however, these will not prove healthy for people or the soil. Round Up Ready Technology is harmful; More of the info is now surfacing.

isn’t it a no-brainer that we should know what we ingest? wouldn’t it be good to study the effects of gmos? thankfully leslie has the passion and a concern that goes beyond himself and represents us. we have the right to know and choose. thanks, leslie, for being a great caretaker of our health.
in the end i admit i’ve got my predictions too. as far as the battle on earth goes—the greed, inhumanity, and wars—it’s no contest. it can never match the passion of people participating with intention and clarity—if we add humane-ness with humanity, we win."
