Yikes!
The Aghihotra is getting to me.
Becoming sensitized to animal live around here
at the Enchanted Garden.
The crow greets me when I drive up.
Bird life awakens and goes to sleep with the dawn and dusk.
Went into Hani’s for lamb the other day.
Saw a Whole Lamb hanging there.
It could have been a human being;
I would have felt the same.
Then, I went looking for Cow Dung at
the Del Mar Fair yesterday.
Got a big lesson in the difference between a steer,
a heifer, and a cow.
Finally found a cow.
Spent about two hours there.

This strawberry--or facsimile
greeting me atop the morning
salad they put out for Breakfast in the Garden.
I was so stunned by its lack of quality
that I had to take the photo.

Went to Breafast in the Garden
at the Del Mar Fair Opening Day.
This was the commercially grown strawberry that greeted me!!!
It was right on top of the Fruit Salad!!!
This Fair is run by the Ag District.
Can you imagine having this berry represent
your Image???
Who grew this?
Where did it come from?
What was someone thinking when they put it on the plate?
If I had time, I would have Whole Foods Sponsored the Fruit Salad
for the next Breakfast in the Garden set for June 23 or so!!!

The inflow of energy and the outflow of energy.
The Outflow is tremendous.
It always is.
There would be more Inflow if the Outflow
was more balanced, if I were doing less and going deeper.
The House is an enormous Outflow.

organic ripe fruits to the children and parents
at World Environment Day. We gave away six boxes
of fruit given us by Noel Stehly, San Diego third
generation farmer.

June 2. The Enchanted Garden was one of five U.S. Participants.

Angelene served us up some French Toast
the other day. I was recovering from
World Environment Day and all the stresses
of doing so much in a short time.
The French Toast helped me take a nap
and shift gears after a week of intense
”Show Time” preparation.
Our blackberries are coming in now.
The berries get amazingly big if we allow them
to stay on the vine.
The herb is spearmint.
We love to eat here.
There are all kinds of foods being eating
of late from Vegan diet to modified S.A.D.

Oh my God!!!!
I just had a bit of a leek
that was picked a few days ago
from the garden of Rancho Tres Estrellas.
The U.S. Border agents stopped us,
expressed concerns about bringing over vegetables,
told us make sure not to bring over the roots,
and then let us cross with these yummy vegetables.
This leek is super sweet.
My mind is exploding with inspiration.
I am thinking of the new culinary school that is now
being constructed as we speak on the grounds of Rancho Tres Estrellas.
