They have many varieties of lettuce so fresh
it will make you blush!
I was able to get their organic strawberries
in Whole Foods Market Hillcrest.
Their lettuce is now regularly featured in the store.

Going to the Pioneers in Recovery
Annual Symposium last week sponsored
by the Meadows Center
was like looking myself in the mirror.
Some of what I have been seeing is scary.
I have been spending time in recent days with
Pia Mellody’s book, ”Facing Love Addiction.”
I see myself, or some of myself, in the mirror
of these words.

Opera performer. He is a healer;
His instrument is voice.
He has deeply touched me.
Just got off the cell with
Daniel Hendrick,
the amazing opera singer.
He is local to San Diego,
and has a very powerful and important
foundations to support artists.
I met Daniel
at the Slow Foods Fundraiser
two years ago at Orfila Winery.
I was standing near the stage and
started to sing too!
My father was a Cantor in the Orthodox Jewish
tradition. When I stopped singing, I imagine
some of the Stuff of Childhood started sticking
to my bones. I came from a family of screamers.

This is the second day of
Succot, one of the three primary Harvest
Festivals in the Jewish and Enchanted Garden
Tradition.
Today is our first Soilmates Sacred Circle.
from 4-5 PM.
We will start the activities in less than 1 1/2 hours
with garden tour and Making More Holy Land with
Worm Castings.
Just came home from the FM with some great food
and flowers from the Rodriguez Family.
Bought some figs, concord grapes, and Jujubees
from Steve White and he threw in some passion fruit.
