Learning Hopi 15 y
Humans are a violent species that must learn the way of peace soon or they will self destruct. There are a few cultures among the masses of violent nations, kingdoms, and tribes that have chosen the path of peace and have survived to this day. Their languages or ways of looking at the world may be a key to learning how to think in such a way that benefits our world. This is the path I am on today.
I wanted to share with you this pdf book as I find the Hopi are one of the few cultures that have a culture who may have an opportunity to survive this world, with their bodies intact, allowed to join the kingdom of Love.

Edible Day Lillies 15 y
Edible Daylilies
Daylilies, known as Hemerocallis fulva by botanists, are naturalized throughout much of America. They are especially hardy in warm dry areas. The orange colored blossoms are often seen along roadsides and in abandoned home gardens during June and July. All cultivated varieties of daylily are edible.
Flowers and flower buds of daylilies are delicious and quickly prepared for eating. The flowers are used in soups, meat dishes, and with noodles. Prepare the flowers for eating by removing the basal end (ovary) and dicing the rest. Flowers can be used for garnishing foods in somewhat the same way as mushrooms are employed. These flowers add substance, color, and pleasing flavors to foods. Fresh flowers are best for eating since some flavors are altered when they are preserved by drying and freezing.

Wayfaring Stranger
I am a poor wayfaring stranger,
walking through this world below,
There's no sickness,
toil or danger in that bright Land
to which I go.
Wayfaring Stranger
I’m going there to see my brothers,
all my ancestors there have gone
I’m going there to see my father
I’m going there no more to roam.
I’m going over across the river
beyond the valley far below
I know dark clouds will gather ’round me,
I know my way is hard and steep,
A golden land lies there before me,
All my fear I left behind
a spirit wind will take me there
I’m going there to see my Mother,
She said she’d meet me when I come.

For Fatherless Children 15 y
I had been a grant funded teacher of hands on Science at a school where many of the children were from a housing project nearby. A fragile young eight year old but beautiful little Hispanic girl in my class came up to me and asked if I would be her father for Father's Day.
I was a little put back for a moment but then she said that she did not have a father. Her father was dead. I later found he had been stabbed to death in what might have been a drug transaction. I looked at this little child and what was I to do? I said of course and she then came close to me....reached around me...and she hugged me... It was a little awkward as male teachers should avoid hugging girls under their care but I couldn’t stop her and if I were to at that moment I felt there would have been some type of emotional damage done.
As the tiny angelic child ran away from me laughi ... read more

In dreams we do so many things
We set aside the rules we know
And fly the world so high
In great and shining rings
If only we could always live in dreams
If only we could make of life
What, in dreams, it seems
But in the real world
We must say our goodbyes
No matter if the love will live
It will never die
In the real world
There are things that we can’t change
And endings come to us
In ways that we can’t rearrange
I love you, and you love me
But sometimes we must let it be
In the real world
In the real world
When we were dreaming heart to heart
I wish that we had stayed right there
For when the dreamers do awake
The dreams do disappear
In the real world
There are things that we can’t change
And endings come to us
In ways that we can’t rearrange
I love you, and you love me

Sage for Sore Throat 15 y
Sore throats are one of the most common reasons why people see a doctor. In the United States, sore throats account for more than 18 million visits to the doctor each year.
Sore Throat Remedies
These are herbs that are used as natural remedies for sore throat.
*
Slippery Elm
Slippery elm was once a popular drugstore remedy for sore throats in North America. The herb was listed in the United States Pharmacopeia, a compendium of drug standards, until 1960. A member of the elm family, the slippery elm tree (Ulmus Rubra Muhl) grows primarily in the eastern region of North America.
For sore throats, herbalists use the inner bark of the tree. The inner bark contains mucilage, a gel-like substance that swells when it is mixed with water. The mucilage is thought to coat the throat, reduce irritation, and soothe sore throat.

Place the pot on your stove top and fill it with the dried Lavender, and add enough water to cover just above the flowers. Stir the mixture well.
So you’re having spider issues at home – and you want to know how to encourage the little critters to make the earliest exit without poisoning your entire family?
Over the past several days, arachnophobic family members discovered three different Brown Recluse Spiders wondering about the house. By my silence, I tacitly approved their being tracked down and destroyed. Brown Recluse spiders are highly poisonous and if you have them in your home then you need to find a way to get rid of the one’s you already have creeping around your house and discourage others from coming in. Book of Cures- People's Pharmacy 16 y
11 Billion dollars is spent by Americans each year to relieve allergy suffering but the least expensive of all supplements, apple cider vinegar with a little dash of cayenne and cinnamon cured my allergies. They are gone. I don't have to do a maintenance dose each day but when I start feeling the mucous come on, I just add these ingredients to a little juice and they are gone. The People's Pharmacy has a book that someone posted online that extols the virtues of apple cider vinegar but more: The book has natural cure for all kinds conditions. It is well worth a look.

I am here to taste tears 16 y
These are special times... a time like this there has never been...or will there ever be such a time... You were born for this time... I was born for this time... We were born with something hidden inside... Inside of each of us is a secret stone... For some the secret is emerging from our souls and now...what was once inside is out...still... some hold on to this outside mirage... I do so when I cry with tears of sadness and you... and you do so when you taste the tears of joy as they pass your nostrils... as they flare for the last scent sent from this world...passing still...those same tears purse your lips...my lips...therein lies the gentle kiss... Letting go and holding on... the days of hours...minutes,,,seconds...and then....darkness...light...streets of gold...the gates of heaven...the book of life... timelessness draws me on but for the kiss...the kiss...the kiss...the salty taste of tears touches my tongue again...drawing me back to here again...here again... I am here...
