Going for 21 days...14 day minimum...It’s going to be OFF THE CHAIN. Clean, lean, running machine and be more energised and wake up early to make it to the 0845 mass every day LOL even if I leave work late the night before.

Jamaican Jerk Marinade
1/2 c fresh orange juice1/2 c apple cider vinegar1/4 c olive oil1/8 c soy sauce1 T Braggs Liquid Aminos1 T raw honey or organic maple syrup1 T allspice1 t sea salt1 t cinnamon1/2 t nutmeg1 T fresh ginger, minced (or 1 t ground ginger)3 t fresh thyme leaves3 large garlic cloves, minced1 jalapeno, seeded and minced4 scallions, chopped visit the page

another GS recipe
Two quarts:
1 grapefruit
1 orange
1 cup of frozen okra
1 cup of kale (more like a hand grab of kale)
1/2 cup of frozen spinach
1 scoop of body fortress protein powder (till my finances improve)
1/2 tsp creatine powder
1/2 tsp glutamine powder
This made two quarts of green stuff which I drank down over the coure of a shift. I started getting the munchies around 10:30 pm and had a sm cup of cottage cheese. Now I’m home and off to bed before I eat something LOL! I filched two bananas from the community fruit basket for GS in the AM.

Green Smoothie:
frozen spinach
frozen okras
orange-sale
banana- not really sale
handful of kale- ginormous bag from Walmart for $4
aloe
1.5 liters approx=300cal
Plus lots of sale apples! When I visit my mom on Long Island next week, I hope to make tons of videos or posts about going rawfood crazy in the big city. Not really. I’m a frugal penny pincher cheapskate. The okra smoothie is super filling and doesn’t leave me starving which this busy LTC nurse needs.

My food addiction nightmare
Gosh these last few days have been emotional hell for me. Food addiction has taken a total strangle hold on me and really fueling the fire of depression. It’s a vicious circle. I get sad about money, having to work so much, why my husband doesn’t help around the house,etc.etc.etc. and I eat. Eat eat eat. I’m so insecure about everything that I eat so late at night, like just now. No reason to eat two spoonfuls of light sour cream and a little cranberry sauce. I’m getting back to Overeaters Anonymous. Went to hell and back emotionally. I’m also not letting lack of funds instill a fear and sense of lack in me so that I’m not eating rawfoods.

Friday is probably busier than Monday in terms of nursing responsibilities. It’s the hardest time for rawfooders because of all the doctors’ offices gifts and resident family members LOVE TO COOK.
Lately, I can hardly call myself a rawfooder because I’ve added back meat into my diet for awhile as well as hot soups. My green smoothies are my life and I still do those as well as any hand fruit on sale at the grocery store. The good produce is about dried up right now and I use frozen stuff which is almost as nutritious as fresh things you grow yourself.

an ok weekend off
And guess what I eat? Fruits, vegetables and seeds. Sometimes I eat nuts, raw, roasted,etc. I don’t eat meat. My postworkout meal was a baggie of wheatgrass then when I got home I ate bananas and Trader Joe bran flakes. I eat like a powerlifter and since lifting heavy duty weight is the only thing that clears my depression, I guess I’m on the path of being a vegetarian powerlifter. When I first joined ivault 4 I wanted to lose a lot of weight. Now I’d be happy with losing five to ten more pounds before the ivault is over.
