8/10: Master Cleanser
Almost there guys!
Date: 9/13/2006 12:49:26 PM ( 7 y ) ... viewed 1240 times Made it through 100% sticking to the program again yesterday. Felt good to be back on track all the way. I definitely know that 10 days is my max on this because of all the running I like to do. It's good because the fast encourages me to get back on track with loving to run and going to the gym. But at the same time when doing that I feel like I need a little more than just lemonade. I will do just fine for the next few days. Almost there. And with any luck when I weigh myself on Friday I will be down some weight which will encourage me to keep on sticking to the program and eventually getting to my goal weight in time for my Wedding.
I have about 20-30 pounds to loose and then I will be really slim. When I tell people that they think I am crazy to want to loose 30 pounds. But I am tall... so 30 pounds can easily disguise itself. It's weight I have packed on in the past 2 years from sitting at work and getting into my late 20s where the metabolism decides it wants to retire. Just not fair. And I work with girls in their early 20s who have no problem eating a foot long sub and still fitting into their size 2 jeans.
This morning I went for my run up to the gym and back, 4 miles, with a little arm weights at the gym. I would really like to tone up my arms by the time the wedding comes up. I was even considering getting into a rowing or paddling crew/team to help strengthen my arms and back. Huh, I'll have to look into it today.
Oh yeah, and my burning face problem cleared up. I am still puzzled. I wonder what that was all about. I suppose it is possible that I accidentally rubbed cayenne pepper on my face before my run. Esentially pepper spraying myself? Idiot!!
Okay... back to work! I am almost there!!! Woohoo!
