Day 2 of Water fast (Started February 3, 2014)

I am feeling good, but I would rather sleep in. I felt asleep very early last night (About 9:15 p.m. or so). I talked to my Stepmother for a bit, and I was yawning to beat the band. I didn't take me much to fall asleep, even if I was trying very hard to read some of my book. I kind of failed at that. When I took a shower, I worked on my numbers in French which was a good thing. I think I am going to start listening to my Bible on CD when I am taking a shower to see if it helps at all. I am currently listening to Loamhedge by Brian Jacques on cassette tape when I am showering. I am almost done with the book on tape, so I might just jump to the Bible on CD. I don't know. I am going to think about it a bit more.

So since I went to be early, I was wake very early. (Like 4:50 a.m. early) I was awake even before my alarm went off, which goes off at 5:00 a.m. Of course, I didn't do much but trying to read a little bit, check my Facebook and listen to the radio. Mekong cuddled with me under the covers, and that caused me to want to go back to sleep around 6:30 a.m. So I ended up napping a bit, and thus running late most of the day doing this. I didn't even remember to take Bickle with me so I could take a picture of him at my Historical Society meeting.

The day started badly and went that way all day. I was doing well at work. I was just going to my lunch (which consisted of sitting in the library and reading a book since I am not eating) when the Mean Attorney asked me if I was going to eat lunch. I said “Yes” And then then said “Well, go heat up your soup (which I had a can of soup by the microwave that I brought in from last week but not used)” So I was kind of pushed into eating thing something when I wasn't prepared. So went into the kitchen area, thinking I could just fake it, but he came in after me. He watched me make my soup for some reason and I went into the library to eat it. He eventually came in the library was reading a file while I ate my lunch. It was odd. I was bummed that I ended my water fast and I just didn't tell him I wasn't feeling good and I wasn't hungry today. I think maybe he has noticed me sitting in the library reading during my last 5 day fast, and not eating anything. And once again, he might have noticed because he knows that I pack my lunch pretty faithful, since it is cheaper for me to do that then eat out. I don't know. I know I failed at this one and probably will try again next week, but trying in the middle of the week is harder for me for some reason.

GAH! I hate that my plans for a water fast got ruined.

My soup was good, but I don't think I enjoyed as much as I could have since I hadn't planned on eating.

My meeting at the Historical Society went well. I was a little late to it, but there was only 6 other people there, which 2 of them I didn't even know (and I usually never miss an meeting). The weather hadn't gotten bad yet, so most of the people were probably avoid the meeting because of the upcoming weather. We are suppose to get between 5 to 8 inches of snow. I am so hoping for a snow day tomorrow if we get that much. Knowing where I live, we won't get that much (as it is funny how my county always seems to get less then all the surrounding counties around me) and I will have to come to work anyway. Anyway, they are going forward with the Time Traveler's Ball in May and they have all kinds of cool ideas for it. We are going to have old time passports, and I will be the photographer, and people will be able to get a passport photo to put in it. They even have an old time stamp that was used around President Harding's time. You can also get your picture taken against an old time back drop, or beside the Tardis or behind some wooden gears. It is going to be so cool, that I can wait. That means that I will have to start working on my Steam punk outfit again. I have the idea down but nothing made or even mocked out yet. I need to do that. D.H told me while at the meeting that he was going to a Steampunk workshop on Saturday (February 8th) and would I like to go. I told him that I didn't have plans so that would be nice. He is going with his mother, and his house isn't very far, so that gas wouldn't be too much for me, as well as he said it was a free event. I thought that would be nice to get out and do something free and fun like that. I am looking forward to it as it will give me something to do on Saturday, which I am sure to be bored.

I steered differently from my Budget. I had only enough money for my P.O. Box ($24.00) and I knew I had until February 10th to pay it. So I could recalculate my Budget for pay day. So I went to the grocery store and bought a little bit of something to eat, since if I continued to eat, I would only have soup and it is getting old. So I picked up a bag of veggies, some hamburger patties, a dish of Mexican layered dip, a baked potato, some shredded cheese and bottle of the Sparkling Ice. I ended up making a hamburger patty and the baked potato. I wanted to eat healthier, so I took a scoop of the Mexican layered dip (refried beans, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes and green onions) and put it on my baked potato with a little bit more cheese. OH MY GOSH, it was so good. I will have to remember to do that when I want a little something for a potato. I didn't eat much. Only about half of the burger (I rarely ever eat hamburgers on a bun unless they are fast food bought that way) and half of the baked potato. I am sure it was because it was too heavy on my stomach. It was very good on what I did eat.

WEEKLY GOAL FOR FEBRUARY 2nd 2014 – FEBRUARY 8th, 2014

LEARN NUMBES IN FRENCH: I have been learning my number really well. It is coming a long with me. I will try to use French number in my every day life so that way it become second nature to me, like saying phone numbers out loud or something like that.

WRITE IN JOURNAL: I wrote 2 ½ pages of my morning pages today. I really didn't want to, but I forced myself to. I don't know if that is good for my creativity.

FIND GARDENING NOTEBOOK: I haven't found it yet.

TAKE PICTURES OF BICKLE (2): I forgot to grab Bickle for his picture today, but I will remember to bring him with me tomorrow to work.

CROCHET/KNIT: I haven't worked on this at all.

FINISH A BOOK: I am very close to finishing Peter and the Secret of Rundoon by Dave Barry. I hope to finish it either Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.

READ BIBLE: I haven't worked on this, but I have the idea of listening to my Bible on CD during my showers at night, to see if it will encourage me to want to read it. I have to get them out of the trunk of my car, as I took them with me during my trip to Upstate New York during my Thanksgiving trip to see my father.

MAKING VALENTINES FOR S. & A.: I haven't started on this at all either.

WATER FAST: I was on Day 2 of my water fast until I was kind of pressured into eating something during lunch time by the Mean Attorney. He was watching me, as if he was waiting to see me if I would eat or not. Before that I was feeling really good. Not feeling much of an urge to eat. Not even a little bit restless or uneasiness like I get sometimes during Day 3 or 4. My urine in the morning wasn't too dark yet. Oh well, since I failed at this, I will try again next week.

TUNE GUITAR: I down loaded a guitar tuner application on my phone, but I tried it quickly and it didn't work like I thought it would. So I will have to uninstall it and try for another one.

WRITE 1,000 WORDS ON MY NOVEL: I didn't work on this at all. What is my problem this week with my goals?

WRITE ROUGHT DRAFT OF BICKLE STORY: I haven't worked on this at all either.
