I agree that iodine is must needed in our diets but getting the correct amount from the proper source is critical. Many other countries have tried to increase their iodine in the food and in water supplies but the studies showed over time those populations actually got sicker. The reason for this reaction has many layers but will touch on a couple: 1. 80% of people with thyroid issues are Autoimmune. Vesely: That is pretty much along the lines of the Peat Diet.. The best thing I did initially was put myself on the Failsafe diet. It really gave my poor adrenals a break and I was able to figure out my salicylate/phenols and histamine intolerances. Personally I feel fantastic with starches and sugars, as well as full fat dairy and eggs. White Potatoes are the cornerstone of my diet. I dont’ think the issue is accuracy. With cortisol, the levels vary so greatly during the course of the day--high in AM, low at night. Hello, I am no expert, but this sounds exactly like my story minus the cavitation surgery. I think another liver flush will help. I was going to do one myself, I was so sick and tired, but went on Master Cleanse instead. I’m on day 7 and FINALLY have some relief today for the first time in weeks from feeling ill. Since quite young I have had an horizontal line across my neck. Nowadays I have two. I have been reading in different places that could indicate Hypothiroidism.
