E: Given that more people than ever are in severe pain or otherwise infirmed in our world today, it makes absolutely no sense at all to say that "the gift served it's purpose and is not needed today".


V: God is the healer. The gift of healing came from him. Therefore he is able to heal perfectly fine without "healers".

He does ask us to pray though. So let's pray for people and trust God's answer whatever it is.
