Yes, killing parasites creates bad (phew) gas too.
I had the reactions to killing parasites like Hulda mentioned the symptoms for L-Cysteine with the clean-up, through much of the parasite killing...however, looking back, I wonder how much of it was also because of stirring up metals, not just from killing the parasites.
One thing I did have a definite brain reaction to, (that I hadn't realized stirred up mercury at the time) was taking the large doses of MSM (which is sulphur based). I had read the information about it killing parasites, and it did kill ascaris...but I hadn't taken into account what it does with mercury. It stirs it up and displaces it. That was one of the times I was "untestable" with the muscle testing to.
You had asked about what symptoms a person can have with the L-Cysteine with the Clark clean-up.
I made it more confusing here, and didn't mean to because Clark is talking about it being for the purpose of parasite clean-up, and has no mention of metals---but it's something to be aware of. One way of finding you do have a mercury issue, is stirring it up (which sulphur does).
If a person has reactions to taking the L-Cysteine with the Clark tapeworm/ascaris clean-up like Hulda is talking about here, because it is sulphur based (correct me if I'm wrong Newport), but wouldn't there be the possibility of the reactions being caused because of the mercury too and not just because of it killing parasites? (or both)
Listening to your own body and how it reacts is important. Some of the supplements you read about that are supposed to be good for you, have caused me more problems until I figured out the metals connection. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a big one. The MSM was a definite one too.
I know you agree with alot of Hulda's information Newport. I hadn't thought about this until recently, but knowing what you know now about the chelating, would taking the 3,000 mg of Cysteine a day for 3 weeks like Hulda is talking about be an ok thing, or not, if mercury is a possible problem?
I just had a friend tell me that they have a definite reaction to taking NAC (which is a cysteine) and she has also had mercury show up in a metals test. But I also remember you saying something about NAC and Lead too.
These are the reactions Hulda says a person may get with taking the L-Cysteine for the clean-up:
>>>Taking this supplement can give you side effects, perhaps due to its penetrating anti parasite property. If you have serious side effects, reduce the dosage. Even if you reduce the dosage, do not take it longer than 3 weeks. Most persons get no side effects. But the more parasitized you are, the more side effects you could have: fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea.
Remember, animals that are being deparasitized have similar symptoms. I have not yet found a way to counteract these symptoms, so it is wise to drink lots of water while taking it, take vitamin C and vitamin E, 400mg, one a day. Vitamin E will counteract the over-oxidation produced temporarily by the ozonated oil. Take it two hours or more after the ozonated oil to make sure there is no loss of the oil's potency. Also, alkalinize yourself with 1/2 tsp. baking soda at bedtime since all sulfur compounds will acidify you. Be patient. Usually, all side effects disappear in a few days, but in difficult cases they may last a week. Make sure to eat regular meals in spite of appetite loss. You must not allow yourself to lose weight, even for one week. Taking a capsule of vitamin B1, 500mg, with each meal helps with appetite.
