Re: RH Negative

The links provided good information. The text of the message did not. RH problems occur after a RH negative mother has a RH positive baby. If the baby's RH positive blood enters the mothers bloodstream during birth the mother would develop antibodies against the RH positive blood. If not treated with RHogram shot to prevent the build up of the antibodies, future RH positive babies could be at risk of being attacked by the mother's RH antibodies.

I am not a medical professional; however, I did a lot of research on this subject after learning that my sister was AB- and had a RH + baby. (She got the RHogram shot). I was 0- and had a 0- baby. I did not get the shot. Since then I have had two other children also 0- and have not received the shot.
