War on the Poor ; Commodity prices

One way which the wealth of this nation is kept from the poor is to artificially inflate the commodity prices.

One eg. would be the BSE cows issue. It was "milked" for all it could be to produce higher prices for milk and beef, as the supply was restriced.

High commodity prices mean high prices for goods.
It also means higher profits for the welathy owners with all the government influence. Thats right - you voted for someone who listens to the cow people who demand that the govt. do the things that keep prices high.

Thats partly why prices go up due to weather problems or something to fail crops, but never go back down. Remember coffee increases, or Sugar increases, for those reasons? - they never went down again when crop conditions improved...

Govt. fully participates in this war on the poor.

It could be just a good time to profit at the expense of the poor. Or it could be also a good time to drive them insane with price increases. How hopeless does a poor person feel when domething does up 10%? comparedto middle incomers who can absorb it...This can kill people [suicides mostly, but heart disease too].
I know the stress of raising prices and dropping incomes. I have been on disability income for 10 years, and in that time my income dropped by 30%!! I pay about 1/3rd of my total income in sales taxes. Costs have gone up on everything I buy, often by 50%.

I grew despondant last year. Nothing went "better", allways worse. Less and less support, more and more expenses. Is this the time for an anti-depressant pill? - hardly, but thats what the doc thought I should do...even if I did have to pay for them!!
