I used to suffer from nasty cramps and heavy periods, but since I started periodic fasting and a vegetarian diet, I have only a mild awareness of my period, no sore boobs, little irritability, and a period that lasts only 2 days! I find the period is totally affected by diet. When I've eaten badly, I get it when my cycle comes. Suddenly I have some pain.

I think Viktoras Kulvinskas wrote that the period is really a detox process...this makes sense.
