Re: Vitamix Benefits

I am of the feeling that extraction of any kind is an act of violence whether it be by hundreds of pounds of pressure exerted by the teeth or sizzling of foods by the hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The key is that the vital nutrients must be released through force of some kind. From my understanding and study the real enemy to enzymes during the extraction is heat. So cool water with some ice should be used in the Vitamix process. You are correct though. There is some disagreement about the vitamix. Everything has pros and cons. My research on the matter lead me to believe it is not an issue. I am willing to accept that I may be wrong. I use my vitamix everyday and thank god I have one.

As for varicose veins I haven't experienced that myself so have not attempted to use a castor oil pack for that condition. My understanding from iridologists is that the primary cause of varicose veins is constipation. So that may need to be addressed. It is also related to oxidation due to under digested foods and low levels of antioxidants. I would look to increase hcl in the stomach or add enzymes to my food and try in general to become overall alkaline and to facilitate uptake of anti-oxidants and alkaline minerals.

I make a drink with the vitamix that is a whole lemon drink. One peeled lemon, water and a little sweetener. That is a complete detox and adds vitamin C with bioflavanoids and the pectin which are essential nutrients for the cardio and veinous system. It will blend smooth in the vitamix. Pectin pulls out many poisons and heavy metals too. I also make a drink from a head of parsley, a tomato and juice of a lemon with some pink salt. The vitamix releases all the phytochemicals. (Would be careful if the kidneys were weak though).

In the book the Oil that Heals by Dr. McGarey on page 36 there is a case of complete healing of varicose veins using castor oil. Just take a piece of flannel (an old T sheet will do) and add the castor oil. Wrap the leg in plastic wrap and leave on as long as possible throughout the day or night. There is no need for a heating pad. Do this until it is healed and cleared up. In the book it took about a month to clear.

In addition some people have had success using ACV for this condition. Put the ACV on a rag and rub it in everday morning and evening. Also a german friend of mine had very bad veins. She used horse chestnut extract to cure herself. This is what the europeans use. Good luck!
