god is not religion

experience god my friends, not religion.
at its best, religion is ethics. ethics is the general development of self-awareness and is not to be contrived in particular decisions made by particular individuals with particular opportunities in particular circumstances using particular tools. turning contraception and abortion, not to mention evolution, entertainment, and divorce into ethical litmus tests was a colossal overstep religions have no place surviving.
experiencing god must come from the 'self',intuitive, from within, the heart, spiritually, where god is without religion, where jesus is without religion, where all goodness is without the need for religion as seen today.
religion would be fine if it looked upon a universal god,regardless of religious, cultural, or political affiliation intended for anyone interested in spiritual growth. tomi.
