Re: ~what is Aspartame GOOD for~?

watch out...you may get them addicted...then they'll become
diet 'coke' fiends...then work their way up to Trident and
Mocha Mix

Ahh, ants, a part of life. Everywhere!

I find the most effective natural crawling bug eliminator is
Diatomaceous Earth, the fossilized remains of million year
old diatoms act like little razor blades to insects. You can use
on cats(woofers, too) for fleas and if the cat licks it the DE is harmless to
them. Dirtworks is a good source, you must use natural unproceesed,
not the kind for swimming pool filters. Be carefull not too be sloppy
with it...you don't want to breath in too much...bad for the lungs.
I look like a bank robber with a bandana over my mouth and nose when
I place it outdoors in wind. A pinch on the scruff of Cloe's back(my Japanese Bobtail), a dash by a crack in the floor where bugs get in,etc...
.
My favorite, non lethal deterent is plain water, maybe mixed with a
little Dr Bronner's original. I put in a spray bottle and just
harrass them as much as they harrass me. Eventually they realize there
are better, dryer places to live that don't smell like peppermint.

Ground black pepper is good, too. Cleanliness is the best deterent,
and when it's hot, supplying a distant water supply for the ants is
effective,too.
