No whole home system to date can remove fluoride efficiently. They can reduce fluoride, with great variance based on other characteristics of the particular water being treated. Bone char is one method, with activated alumina being another. Just the name, activated alumina, gives one pause and it is inefficient as well as being an aluminum by product.

Fluoride externally is not a challenge. It is internally that it creates chaos. It is more toxic than lead and only slightly less toxic than arsenic according to the poison index (Merk). It disrupts all collagen proteins and the effective tooth enamel (a collagen protein) in young children under 3 years of age.

No shower filter removes fluoride, nor does it have to. Wellness and eWater are the two best shower filters on the market today.

Stay away from the malarky being promoted by the ionizers (acid/alkaline machines). The research has been done in Japan and although these new three to four thousand dollar commercial models are the first to match the acid levels from the research, they still DO NOT REMOVE FLUORIDE or anything else that carbon doesn't remove. They all have carbon filters only. They have never produced one test that showed significant fluoride removal, although they have claimed removal. Try to get any substantiation and you will be disappointed. These machines also in no way energize water.

The ionizers are electrolysis machines. They must have filthy water to work. They provide electrons and structured water for the body. Dr. Mu Shik Jhon in "The Water Puzzle and the Hexagonal Key" states that this water is good for the GI tract but little else. The structure is fragile. The electrons and hydration are very helpful, but carry fluoride and so many other poisons not removed by carbon deep into the tissues. These sit like little time bombs, accumulating and waiting for some disruption of the immune system later to release their vengence on the body.

So, with ionizers you get an immediate perceived benefit from better hydration (almost everyone is dehydrated at the cellular level) and the electrons. It is my opinion that the long term accumulation of toxins and poisons is simply not worth the risk when their are many better more cost effective alternatives.



Also, some water catalysts offer exceptional support for hydration and some even for harmonic support of cellular vitality. QuantaWater is on top, with others catching up. Be careful with energy waters. Most are stimulatory (exhaust the adrenals over time)and others have caffein or similar which do the same.
