Lecithin - Forms and when to take

Barefoot recommendes lecithin, also, and he said liquid was best. I have bought both that kind and the granules (though my homeopath/naturopath muscle tested me on both and neither tested well). Nevertheless, it's been awhile, and I don't trust muscle testing 100%, so I'm trying it again. Right now the liquid, mixed with some lemon flavored cod liver oil I have. Of course, it's just disgusting. The cod liver oil is actually quite mild and almost tasty with the lemon, but the lecithin.... oh my god, it's so sticky. What I've been doing so far is sopping it up with a little bit of ezekial bread just to get it down and over with. The bottle actually lists all kind of delicious sounding things you can do with it - smoothies, salad dressings, etc., but I can't imagine how any of them could taste good. I can berely get it off the roof of my mouth.

Supposedly the liquid is the most natural form, so any suggestions on how to take it?

Also, on the kelp - should it be taken with food or away from food (i.e. with the drink between meals)?

thanks!
