ADDED NOTE TO: Am I doing something wrong?
One can move from one dis-ease to another very easily, just like the pendulum can swing from one extreme to another extreme.
Buddha says: "Extremes are what wrong is. To be an extremist is to be wrong. Be in the middle, be balanced... that is where being 'right' is. Just be in the middle, don't move from one polarity to another." [Discipline of Transcendence Volume IV Discourse #3]
It just takes some time to get to know yourself. To know your mind. To know your body. To get to know what it's needs are. To understand what it is trying to tell you. Surely you have the time for this? To simply relax with yourself. This is the way to find a middle point for yourself. It will not be the same for everyone. So, not to look at others so much... at what others are doing. But to start to quietly look at your own self... your own body.. your own mind.
Otherwise, if you go on looking for an "instant coffee" cure for your problems, the impatience and unwillingness to spend time with yourself, this will keep you moving from one extreme to the other. From one dis-ease to another.
Peace...
