My MD

I think I lucked out. In Feb'03 I needed gallbladder surgery and in June I saw my doctor and told him I was not going to do it, because I wanted to try some alternative stuff. He just said just don't suffer too much.

Next June '04 I told him I stopped my 6 prescription drugs, anti-depressants, lipitor and high bloodpressure in Oct'03. OK! I said you are not mad? No he had worked with patients for 30 years, instead told me a few supplements I could try.

I skipped '06 and this year I said you won't believe what I am doing now,
Lugol's iodine, I was going to tell him why and he said I know for the halogens.
He just wanted know for how long and told him 6 months, he checked my thyroid test and said as your doctor, based on your test, the TSH was somewhat higher, you are ok but don't keep on the high dose.
Since I ended up doing it for 7 months I am now, what I call, on maintenance.
The same I do liverflushes as maintenance so I don't get new stones.

Told him I wanted ultrasounds for the gallbladder, endometrium and carotid arteries. The endometrium is thickened and I had a biopsy in '06 but did not want to keep being cut, he could understand.

So I had the US
.
After 4 years I am feeling fine, always trying to improve my lifestyle. I still have my 1" calcified stone, but so far in 4 years it has not gotten bigger.
