It is not living a paranoid life nor is it hard to do. Initially, it may be hard and costly. After you remove everything from your home and replace it with the healthier alternative, it is easy to keep up with. Just as easy as going to the market to buy the chemicals. You do have to read the packages, which could take some time, except that if one is doing this it is most likely that they are not purchasing packaged foods.

I eliminated household products, some odd years back, after going to a Melalueca party and hearing all the horrific ways that these products could be harming my son and I. I ended up buying their products for a while. Since I just go to either Whole Foods or for my laundry soap, to Walmarts and purchase Borax. I am going to, as soon as I get a Paypal account (anyone tell me how I do that, please?) purchase an even better product.

As for the makeup, Origins sells all natural products. I just purchased some mascara, lipstick and an eyeshadow. I still use products for my lipstick and eyeshadows, until I can completely change them. I do not wear face makeup. I do not need it. Thus, it is a very limited area on my face (eyes, brows, and lashes..oh and lips) that have makeup on it. I do know even that small area is a lot except that I have backed off of much lately, so I guess it is a 'pick your poison'.

The whole concept of this lifestyle is that if you choose it consciously (as the woman ridding herself of cancer) it is not as hard to do. There is nothing paranoid about this lifestyle either. It is realizing that your body is your temple and you desire to have a temple that is of its highest quality by doing what you can to keep it that way.

It is easier to poison it, yet IMO it is better to do what is not easy for me. In that way, it stretches me, helps me to grow and become a better me.

OH and as for deodorant, I use one that has no aluminum in it. I did try the crystal and as you mention, for me, it did not work out that great.

Peace,
Beth
