Re: Jewelry
Hi! I've been making lots of crystal bracelets and necklaces lately (when I get the chance on weekends) You just bead them the same way you would any other bead, following the same rules you learned in your jewelry making class. If the stone is heavy, make sure the clasp ends of the necklace or bracelet are secure.
Quartz crystal is my favorite and a good crystal to mix with other color stones or other beads. All crystals are beautiful stones and make very pretty jewelry - as well as a healthy thing to put on your body to enhance your energy field.
You can get sterling silver wire and make wire rings out of large crystal beads too-- That's something I plan to try next.
I found some clear plastic elastic beading thread that I made some crystal bead bracelets out of -- just knot the ends securely-- beading about 7 or 7 1/2
inches worth of beads. No need to use any kind of metal clasps with the elastic thread- you just slip it on or off the wrist!
I also got some jewelry glue and glued some citrine and other mineral beads and stones on to French Barrettes- to make pretty barrettes.
