yes it is difficult to say what the researchers are taking into account... or more so, what they are not taking into account...

i am aware that the it has been said the the contrast material compounds are thought to be responsible for this, rather than the iodide/iodine itself. But like I said there appears to be enough posters that are experiencing this with only the iodine/iodine without the other compounds that this subject just may need to be looked at with greater depth. It still not a big problem just looks weird... I had my right wrist swell up for about three days... and later the right side of my salivary glands for some time [it came and went] ...felt it was lymph doing a strange thing with the Iodine.... but i;ve had lymph issues for about 30 years now... still observing myself as i go along here with all this...
