Re: A Guide For Confusing Lab Tests, Be Your Own Detective

I agree with Shroom! Must have information.

When I was rushed into hospital they hadn't a clue what was wrong with me. I had various tests, chest x-ray, scan of abdomen, heart scan/echo. I even had the dye put through to check the heart for obstructions (I think that's what they did, they told me nothing!!). I also had a blood test taken to check for heart attack and to check for damage to the heart. All came back normal. (Were they really normal I ask myself because I was suffering REAL heart symptoms). Very scary day for me that was!!

I had a the full blood count and still nothing showed up. I even had heart pain, chest pain, and more worrying pain in my arm (yes the left arm!!), and also pain in my jaw!! These are CLASSIC heart symptoms. All my blood tests came back ok.

THEY clearly don't know what they're looking for. They were clearly missing something. It was probably staring them in the face!

Thankfully, my chest symptoms, heart symptoms (including the wriggling, skipping heart beats have calmed down and are not occurring as much).
