I dont know abt hyperthyroid, But I was getting DIARRHEA from Iodine ( 6+ times a days). And it was not stopping. Felt better only after stopping Iodine.
I think I am better of w/o injesting Iodine. I also dont understand how ppl can take 50-100mg of Iodine. :)
