Re: CT scan of liver
I have the same pain. It started within the past month or two. I went to my doctor to make sure it wasn't gall stones. He felt it was probably gastritis. He sent me for a chest x-ray and an abdominal ultrasound, which showed everything was okay - no stones, liver, gall bladder, spleen and pancreas all okay.
I did my first flush last weekend, about two weeks after the ultrasound. I produced about 150 to 200 stones. The pain, which sort of feels like a dull pressure and can move, is still there.
There's a lot going on in that little area. You've got your duodenum, hepatic flexure of the large intestine, liver and gall bladder. Without doing an upper and lower GI, it's tough to single out a potential cause. I'm trying not to get too freaked out by it. It's far from unbearable, it comes and goes, and it seems like a lot of people on this forum have it. My Dr. gave me some samples of Nexium, so I'll see if this helps at all.
