Melasma

I'm kind of discouraged as I come her. I was hoping to find some info on what worked. Instead I find every avenue that I have thought of pursuing having a negative consequence for SOMEONE.

I guess it's like Acne and somethings work for some people and not for others.

I have be prescribed Tri-Luma, but cannot begin to use it until I'm done BF'ing. But I read that can make it worse ...

My case is mild, I'd say. Patches on the bridge of my nose, cheeks and forehead. It is light enough that I can cover it with makeup and it's not really apparent.

I just stopped taking BCP. That seems to have helped a bit.

But I HAVE to take some birth control and so am getting the IUD, but now I read that may WORSEN it instead of help ???!!!

I will be scheduling a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist after I'm through breast feeding (BF'ing) but now I'm hesitant to do any of those procedures either, since reading horror stories regarding them.

Any POSITIVE stories anyone would like to share????
