Re: COFFEE,with a kick"

"We might as well promote crack as to promote coffee use."

MH,

I am so sorry if by admitting I was still drinking a cup of coffee every morning it's giving the suggestion that it's OK to have it on the fast. I want to be explicitly honest with what I'm doing while on this fast. But I don't want to give the impression that I will continue to drink the stuff. I am a coffee addict, that's for sure. I was drinking a pot of coffee every day at the beginning of the summer but now I'm down to a cup this week, with the exception of the one day when I had two. It's like the smoker who doesn't want to give up that last cigarette.

Steve, MH is right. We need to suck it up and quit these unhealthy addictions. This is his forum and if he is going to help us at all, we need to do this his way. He has worked with a bunch of people and he knows what works. Dr. Schulze used to literally throw people out of his office if they didn't do what he said. I think he threw 80% of his patients out. The 20% that did do what he said got well. DR. Christopher said he wouldn't work with anybody who had meat in the patient's house. Barefoot's a lot more gentle. We can't do this fast 99%. It isn't fair to the others watching. It isn't fair to Barefoot and it certainly isn't fair to us and our loved ones. We either do this 100% Barefoot's way or we go home.

I'm stepping out. I'm on the wagon. A recovering coffeeholic.

Thanks for the fuss, Barefoot.
