Kidney help!!

What are some recommendations for kidney support. Kidney tests recently revealed slightly elevated tests on a type 2 diabetic. Obviously the sugar must be lowered but was looking at ways to help the kidneys more.
I was looking at a few options:

1. Kidney Cleanse tincture....Dr. Schulze or any quality brand.

2. Lots of purified water with lemon.

3. Standard Process Renafood for kidney support.

Are there any other good sugesstions?? I would appreciate any suggestions.
