war only means one thing to me

innocent people get hurt and die. this is seen as acceptable. the newspeak term for it is "collateral damage." any time an issue gets put on a war footing like that - war on drugs, war on poverty, war on hunger, war on terror, etc - collateral damage is assumed. its built right in. it is acceptable to those waging and supporting the war.
