well as an assistant the idea is that you get known of the procedures and the opinion of the people when they are being treated. Some of them will always feel some pain depending on the pathology that they have... but you have to understand that the dental needle is only to make you NOT feel any pain!!! and that there are several methods to make the puncture almost not felt!! may be ask here about nitrous!! these will make you more relaxed
